I had a couple that were scary for different reasons, the first was a 1967 Cougar with a 351 Cleveland motor. It had a triple deuce carb set up on a tunnel ram intake, cam and other goodies inside. at 165 miles an hour it started to shake. The other one was an old Fiat. It couldn't go over 60, and it only ran half the time I owned it. I was coming home from college one day, and it died on th side of the road. I had the title in the glove box, signed it, laid it on the front seat, left the key in the ignition. called a junkyard and told them it was theirs. I never saw it again, and was glad not to.
Are you from the country that you live in now or are you from another country? What brought you to the country that you live in now?(besides a plane or other vehicle)
Hey Luscious,Nothing against young women, but think about it this way, You are 42 years old, and you have a 24 year old son. would you date his friends? If I'm still around when you reach that age, you can let me know then
I don't feel that that was too harsh, I'd have said the same things. I get offers from 22-26 year olds all the time and answer pretty much the same way. My daughter is 24 and I couldn't even think about dating someone close to her age or younger. It makes me sick just thinking about it.
That's too funny I guess that I meant that I lost the weight not really from stress, but more from lack of stress. and more free time. My Dr. had told me that I needed to loose weight, and eat better, so I started doing just that. I didn't loose much weight right away, but followed the diet to the Tee. Then the separation came into play. I had more free time, and needed to clear my head, so I walked a lot. (At least 2 miles a day 7 days a week) Then I started really loosing weight. 4 lbs/ 1.75kg a week for a couple of months. Then it leveled off. now I'm back to loosing a couple of lbs a week. I think it's more that I have ambition in life again, that's making me want to loose weight. I've got a great girlfriend, a new job, I've moved to a new state, that I've always wanted to live in, and I'm really happy for once in my life. Do you think that couples just get in a rut over time and loose their ambition in life, and that that leads to weight gain?
from your wife/husband, or significant other, did you loose weight?
Since I separated from my wife almost a year ago, I have lost 70 lbs or about 32 kg for the rest of the world. Has anyone else lost a significant amount of weight after breaking up?
I've got a hundred dollar bill tattooed on my p#%&s. I got it because my girlfriend loves to blow money No actually I have one on my upper arm. I want another one, but I'm not sure what I want, or where I want it. Only time will tell.
Ok.....I'll answer my own thread. I have this roommate that Turns the TV on so her 3 dogs have something to listen to when she's not home. It's always on the History channel. If you change the channel, she will change it back. She leaves the dogs for more than 8 hours a day and they pee on the floor. When she cleans it up. she puts the paper towels in a bag outside the front door and expects everyone else to throw them in the trash. There's more, but that's enough for now.
I've done more in the 42 years that I've been alive than most do by the time they die. but there is one thing...I want to circumnavigate the world in a sailboat and visit all of you. to say that I've met the CS crowd.
I was about 19 or 20 and we were out partying one night. We left this bar in two vehicles to go to this one party spot out on this back road. The snow was coming down and there was already 4 inches on the ground. I was following a friend in his Scout and was about 12 car lengths behind him. The next thing I saw was his headlights facing me and flipping over. The Scout landed on it's roof and I stopped my truck and got out to see if everyone was ok. They were all freaking out in the truck, and the doors were stuck. I could smell the gas coming from the vehicle and couldn't get a door open. finally the back hatch dropped open and I started pulling the three people out. Dave came out first and was ok, then Stephanie crawled out. she was shook up but all right. then Anne came out. She said that her head felt hot. I pulled her hair back and there was blood running down her neck. I threw her in my truck and we headed off to the nearest hospital which was about 10 miles away. I was doing about 90 trying to get her there. She was getting to the point that she was going to pass out. I kept telling her to keep talking to me and that everything would be alright. we got to the hospital and I waited in the lobby, for what seemed like hours, to hear how she was. the doctor said that she had lost a lot of blood and that they had put 25 stitches in her head. but she was going to be ok. It made me feel good to hear that. To this day, every time I see her, she still thanks me for saving her life.
Try putting some Cayenne pepper on the cords. When he gets the pepper in his mouth he will stop immediately. after a couple of times, he won't chew on them anymore. It worked for me.
Hey Gilly, I am in the same situation that you were when you found your soul. I too have found mine. and it feels good to find it again. Going through life as a lost soul isn't fun, and can be down right scary at times.
I'm a lover, not a fighter, and at the time I signed up here, everything was about fighting. I didn't want to be that way anymore. The 65 is the year I was born.
RE: Half a Million dollars in the Bank
By the way, Hi All!!! I'd buy a 50 ft sailboat, use the rest for the cruising kitty, and sail the world for a few years
