RE: Why are you afraid to die?? This is for the believers

I'm not afraid. I've made that pretty clear though.

I'm more worried that I could die because of the politics playing out than because it was my time.

I think most people would rather go with a quality of life. However, hospitalized and such, isn't exactly "quality".

I'm still of the same frame of mind. If it ends up because of the politics, maybe I'll get that 5 minutes or so to address how ignorant people are to think they're safer being locked up and even less active. Especially when it's not the pandemic they made it out to be.

RE: Watch out for free samples

So far, I've been partially lucky in many "free" offers or samples. I think those with "trial" periods can be some of the harshest.

A large part of that is having what I want or need in an easy to deal with fashion. I like change. Change with reasoning before the plunge is taken makes it whole lot easier.

When it says free or special offer for things I might already have, throw it away. Read the fine print for any thing else. Occasionally, there might be something you do want or need. Then the question arises: what's the cost and for how long?

RE: What was your best excuse for not getting or paying a fine?

I'd just had some major front end work done on my '93 corsica back around 1998. The officer clocked me at 97 mph in a 55 zone while I was putting the front end and braking system through the paces after the repairs. It is a true habit of mine unless I'm the only driver. For the corsica, I wasn't the only driver. My wife to be and the kids were in this vehicle a lot as I primarily drove a small pick up truck for my daily routines.

I told the officer the truth as he was contemplating cutting up my license on the spot and taking me to jail. I just got the car from the repair shop with major front end and brake work and I needed to know it was going to be okay for my fiance and kids. I even presented the paper work for the repairs.

He was still angry but let me off with heated verbal warning. I've never been much of one for excuses. If I'm guilty then case closed, let the cards fall where they may. When I have a reason, it's going to be good enough or it won't.

RE: Any men on here looking for a real connection

A real connection would be great if it ever happens again in my life. I'm not sure online or virtual qualifies as a "real connection".

So far, most women are too far away, even for short chats. I can't say what might be wrong with some that are actually close(r). They might fall into a similar category for women, that you've stated for men.

cool

They have a governor worth appreciating. Not perfect. She certainly seems to have the state and her Constituents, best interests at heart and action.

RE: It's over. You people now have my permission to now go out and play.

If you're so sure, look it up.

Look up antibody testing.

Look up WHO's annual estimates.

The new york times is giving death rates at the time of their reporting. That thing they used to cause panic?

Birx if you look it up, admits they're using liberal methods of reporting cause of death.

Influenza is self explanatory. I'm fairly certain most know what it can lead too and the potential results after all of these years.

RE: can a loving person really do this.? .withold aid to w.h.o , scapegoat the good guys for $$$$$$.

WHO might help some to a degree, the same as any government can help it's people to a degree.

What I see is that most countries are handling most of the problems themselves over all.

WHO should have had more information out sooner. China maybe should have admitted more information as well. Things are as they stand at the moment. So funds are with held while they answer some questions and other actions. Last report I saw was for 60-90 days. Big deal. We're less than 15% of their total contributors.

I'd rather stop pointing fingers. Like it or not, the globe gets hit with something from time to time that we're not aware of. That's what makes it "novel".

Throw the politics out. New information is coming forward all of the time. Some of the latest is that it's more wide spread than what started the panic which drastically lowers the potential death count.

There are also potential vaccines in testing that might help. It's still a virus. We don't have cures for most viruses. They might have treatments to help with symptoms but it's still the individual's own ability to fight it that wins or loses.

RE: It's over. You people now have my permission to now go out and play.

Go look it up raph.

It's easy to say disinformation.

Now prove it.

Or maybe your wrapped up in pelosi's ice cream freezer with it's many flavors.

RE: It's over. You people now have my permission to now go out and play.

the scare tactic. Not necessarily misplaced in the beginning. But information changes much. The way cause of death is recorded isn't talked about much but it will drive the rate higher than it actually is.

Closer to the truth and we won't even know the actual with out testing every citizen. Something they say spreads so fast, is obviously missing some numbers since it was potentially spreading since maybe November 2019. No one knew it was something new until around maybe the middle of December 2019.

Don't buy into a death rate more severe because even globally, it's estimated influenza takes over 290,000-650,00 lives a year globally. The U.S. already has years of over 10% with pneumonia and influenza.

Influenza can also lead to pneumonia, just like sars-cov-2.

RE: What Do You Call It?

I use a about 5 of those more or less. SARS-COV-2 also.

RE: Cossack Cat closed her account?

It looks that way. Not sure how or what it would read if she just decided to hide it for a while.

RE: Trump sticks it where the Sun don't shine up in Michigan

Trump did say don't call the the woman in Michigan. He even put "Mike" in front of it once referring to Pence. Of course he pointed out that Pence was a different kind of guy and would quietly call when he,"trump", turned his back.

Of course they're not going to say what's been received prior. They're not going to bring up that every one is trying to replenish, in some cases, catch up with what they need. Competition for the same supplies from the same supply-line(s), including the federal government. If state governors can't help their states with out fully relying on federal aid, we don't need state level government.

I don't care of it says fox news. It's still the Detroit Paper they're talking about.

More people are starting to point out how the demonrats play politics, not country, state, or citizens.

RE: CDC Director: Coronavirus Death Toll Will Be ‘Much, Much, Much Lower’ than Projected

We're most likely causing our own "second wave". The people that could gain immunity aren't getting it but most likely, slowly losing the ability sitting around. They could have just let the more vulnerable people isolate and the rest carry on. 80% is pretty large number.

We don't have a cure for a single virus to date. The percentages of the known pathogens are up and down from year to year. Sometimes upwards towards that 10% mark. Maybe more.

Did that CDC representative go into how they liberally changed the potential cause of death on the certificates that could, and most likely will, inflate the numbers as sars-cov-2?

RE: BUSTED! CBS CAUGHT Using FALSE Footage to Push Crisis Narrative to SCARE You!

There's no doubt the virus is real. We're lucky it's not the big one yet. No chance of extinction at least. Lots of damages though.

It doesn't appear any one knew much before December.

I don't think there was ever a way to actually contain this one. Not sure if china could have been more forward or not. They certainly might have had an idea of how fast it might spread.

Yes, I've seen the report of CBS caught showing pictures of a hospital in Italy. Last a read shortly after it came out was that they claimed to have made a mistake with the photo. I don't recall them retracting much though. I never followed up after that. they're one of my news channels out of about 7 or 8. Certainly never been a favorite. Just a need to know what the outlets are saying or pushing around.

RE: Looks like we’re all being had, Mr. President

Yes. It makes sense to a degree. You did a list of "pandemics" where they seemed to fall around election years. This current virus seems to have a higher recovery rate than they lead the public to believe, with OUT medical attention. Only the known and worse cases make the news and stats.

They should have given people the choice of with drawing from public/work and let the rest live their lives. They were talking about something like that in the beginning. They should have stuck with it and made the proper provisions.

That would be the biggest and best difference. No one is being made to mingle or open their doors to visitors. The older population still working, wouldn't be penalized, or any one else. The rest wouldn't be on a type of "life/house" arrest.

RE: Common denominator?

I should put this here.

That's a list of drugs considered for testing and using, in my previous comment. It also lists some other companies developments for pharmaceuticals.

At the bottom of the list it says something about pets. So does the CDC:

I'm would never dismiss that fact that there are viruses and other factors that can and do kill us. I do resent the fact that by doing this stunt now with all that we've seen from the demonrats and other government agencies under their control, we're not supposed to have a life because they don't like who's in charge with extra-extreme prejudice.

Damages are real. I'm thinking we won't be able to stop it from running it's course but most likely drag it out. The politicians create more ammo for twists, spins, and lies. The media helps them because only a few at the top actually care about the nation and citizens.

I still never thought much about election year panics. Still pissed that obozo and no one else was "shut down" or locked down but we are now.

RE: Share What You Are Listening To -- Part 99

RE: Share What You Are Listening To -- Part 99

RE: Common denominator?

I've never thought about it. Either way, once something is proven to help along with any reasonably gathered information on how it works, stopping the spread could be worse than attempting to slow it down. The U.S. is behind on many of these test trials as they were primarily tried in other countries indicating efficacy in fighting it. Yet they say the virus was downplayed in the U.S. and never speak much of what's already been tried and working as we start ours.

Especially when there are reports of spikes in infection. Something's not working and not every one is going to take a test by a long shot. Of course not every one is going to need medical attention by a long shot to bother.

They say it's not proven household pets transmit the virus. One lone pomeranian in Japan I think, tested positive a while back. What will happen with pets now as I've already seen one headline indicating a pet owner abandoned their dog.

During an election year. Why didn't every thing shut down under obozo and others but the demonrats and media want to play politics with corona?

RE: Question: If the Covid-19 virus is soooooo bad that we are basically on a country wide lockdown....

When people are going about their daily lives working, errands, , family activities, whatever, they're actually more active. A very large portion of the population doesn't exercise every day like some. Or have the best eating habits.

Now a great number are basically, locked away, less active, worse habits and there fore even more susceptible for something experts say, is most likely going to make another wave again.

Why? because unless it requires actual medical attention, with out testing, we're not going to know how many are actually infected or any thing else beyond that.

RE: Question: If the Covid-19 virus is soooooo bad that we are basically on a country wide lockdown....

The bottom line is, we can't stop what's going to happen.

Influenza made three rounds and killed about 50 million people before any thing was able to fight it. Infected isn't a guaranteed death. It is as any other virus, certain age groups are at much higher risk than others in between. Extremely young and the extremely older. There are always some in the middle that might lose for some reason.

they're trying and using methods now that indicate being able to fight it fairly well over all and improving. I feel more like we're being set up for a much worse wave than now.

We don't have real figures for actual infected and recovered. We never will.

RE: Question: If the Covid-19 virus is soooooo bad that we are basically on a country wide lockdown....

Not sure if that would be good or bad Epirb.

We wouldn't last long under crap like Aoc and omar. On the other hand, we're not doing so great when those career parasites we have now think they know what's best either. They don't have to work live like the general population.

They just get to become rich, tell us how to live and what we're not allowed to do, while spending us into oblivion with money we haven't made for ourselves yet.

RE: Dating after separation...

I did what seemed best, work and my child for the first 3-4 years. I still kept and keep the household first. It doesn't matter if it's many or fewer. We still lived and did what we used to together. Over time it was with different family and friends.

Activity types expanded as she got older and group members for some of those changed.

Each person is different on how and what they prioritize.

RE: Question: If the Covid-19 virus is soooooo bad that we are basically on a country wide lockdown....

Italy is a little over 10% death rate based on the fact of much older people catching it. What will people say when it begins to slow as younger people catch it?

Any way, back to the fact our less than helpful congress in here in the U.S. is and has been helping the panic spread. Doubles and triple standards, they can be the group of monkeys they are with out repercussions and the rest of us are told we have to stay and rely on the most UNreliable for "help and information".

RE: Doctor with 4 Degrees from MIT Claims ‘Deep State’ Is Using Coronavirus To Push Its Agenda

Let's be fair.

We haven't handed over anything. They've taken it. Democratic controlled states among the first to start the turmoil. Fear of a virus with incomplete figures and only a death toll touted instead of any successes or survival rates. Now the common sense things are being touted all over the t.v. and radios like some thing new, as the nanny state(and government) takes over.

So far the people have been too stupid to stand together to put them in their places.
