RE: Religion & Dating... Thoughts?

People can have and even uphold their preferences.

We can portray what we think it should be, how it should be, or even why it should be that way while considering a partner.

I don't think there is anything that can be that cut and dried about considering or having a partner. Are there things to consider? Absolutely.

Time and communication. Our biggest obstacles our ourselves and things we can't or won't accept in a partner. That goes both ways since it still takes two. From what I've read over the years; I think they still call them "deal breakers".

The true level of commitment and love can over come a lot. It seems harder these days, to find that type of lover, friend, partner, worker, and anything else reasonable, two people should be for and to each other.

Putting any type of scenario to it just doesn't seem to work. There are relationships that defy logic to some of the people looking from the outside in. Just like there are failed relationships that some may not understand that seem to zero sense at all.

RE: Religion & Dating... Thoughts?

I say for some, maybe many, it might be a must.

I pointed out that there are people the thrive from being more opposite from the start.

It comes down to the people involved. Although many may have a set preference, it's the two people involved that can make that decision.

Average relationships I've seen over the last 20-25 years, similar seem to last longer while opposites seem roughly 5-13 years or so.

As for me, I've chosen to be single for the last 7-8 years. I still have other priorities.

RE: Religion & Dating... Thoughts?

Opposites attract and I think there are many people that have been able to thrive on that.

I also think there are many things to consider when it comes to dating or more.

Religion and even politics were things that used I never consider as important as long neither person stopped the other's views or practices. I'm pretty certain I was wrong on that.

Similar values with views, can and most likely will play a major role on any type of longevity or maybe even a 2nd and 3rd date. It still comes down to the people involved but I think these are things that can help in the long run.

RE: Who do you trust more for accurate news coverage?

I read most of my news. I look at what most of the other networks are "offering".

Townhall has a team with people on both sides. Not bad over all.

The Hill isn't too bad. Dip into Forbes to watch them bounce back and forth. Several other sources including Sky news from the U.K.

I read some of the current trade results from the .gov site. Unemployment vs. actual job creation from the .gov site before checking others for actual analysis. I check the national debt clock and certain states from time to time. Check into some of the bills up, or going up, directly.

It's actually rough on all aspects. So much of the financial, political, and other affects, it's actually rather hard to track it all. The main stream media often make it even harder.

RE: TRUMP INFURIATED EVERY DC INSIDER AND MADE HISTORY WITH EPIC LOBBYING BAN

Today, additional headlines involve N. Korea, an omnibus bill on hold, and some considerations for for key positions concerning security and the legal system.

I can't read much on the N. Korea situation. No one knows for certain how or what Trump has planned on his ideas concerning any type of foreign policy just yet. I'm certain of one thing. He will listen to his advisers before doing too much.

The media has been a pretty scary place for some years now actually. I'm wondering how long it will be before the air might become a little more clear.

Even here, I've seen the some of the effects it's had to feed into people's own paranoia. Yet they managed to miss and ignore the blatant damages that started becoming more bold and apparent even before obama's second term. dunno

RE: TRUMP INFURIATED EVERY DC INSIDER AND MADE HISTORY WITH EPIC LOBBYING BAN

"Earmarks" have been put on hold for now too. "Drain the Swamp" has resonated enough that they're not going to be overly stupid just yet.

The new talk is that they will be put on the table again in 2017. They were done away with for the additional project spending they caused tax payers.

RE: The Truth About the Trump Protests

That is part of the whole point of the wall.

It works both ways. Our criminal and "deplorable" element in and theirs out. Nothing is 100%.

Harder to traffic drugs, weapons, escape justice, and even human trafficking. Any other negatives as well.

It's actually easier for border patrol to police a wall than a porous landscape.

RE: The Truth About the Trump Protests

Seems about every thing is generally covered. As I've noted long before now, many in other countries are aware of more truth and understanding than half of the U.S. population and it affects us directly.
I don't want to delve into failed foreign policies and other such things. There is a lot of work to do and even more to be done. I'm going to watch over the next 6-8 months.
Trump will follow through with what he says and he won't be unreasonable about it. If things or other parties become unreasonable, he's not going to roll over and charge the citizens more taxes, fines, or impose more regulations to make up for it. He will deal with things in a very straight forward manner.
Trade will still continue and allowed, it's just that we won't be taking the losses we have been. Fair trade would be nice.
It's going to be hard trying to teach so many that work ethics, actual education, and values are important again. Our Constitution and laws might finally be, primarily, upheld again.( There are laws against burning the flag but never enforced).

Like I said; 6-8 months. We should hopefully, start seeing more positive results. We may not have a choice but to let the rioters wear themselves out until he's sworn in. We don't want violence. We didn't want it when obama got in. Things weren't so corrupt when they got their way. Now that the corruption couldn't buy what it wanted, it's going to be a whole new ball game. Let's hope we can bring things around peacefully in full form.

I'm also, one of many, glad the we have Trump going to the white house.

RE: Sick & Tired of Trump and Clinton? ...Go Johnson 2016!

Johnson is another version of hillary. She stopped supporting TPP because people are starting to remember NAFTA. Johnson not only supports it and more, his V.P. is more anti-gun leaning. No dice with this loser.

People are backwards. every time they shut down an area, create more regulations for the nation and citizens, allow more values and standards to drop while exerting more control; it hurts educationally, economically, and more.

Before NAFTA, we operated internally with outside trade as an option. We were able to make great strides forward in most areas of education, economy, values and standards, militarily, and still more. We were strong and stable. Even more respected globally. We had the solid foundation to back it.

Trump has outlined and even detailed many of these policies that are not actually new but proven. They worked. Even if you look at some of our trade deals, some say pre-nafta or post-nafta. Trade is not a good thing when you're losing more than gaining. Our government spending is through the roof. Tax payer burdens and government regulations are killing us.

A whole educational institution is being forced to close because of "regulations" recently. It's not enough for job loss alone. We've lost hundreds of thousands to over regulation and taxation. Our educational system is down the tubes and getting worse. obamacare is even falling apart.

Hillary doesn't have any good foreign policies except to roll over. How's that idea working for obama right now as a Philippine president insults him. China pretty much shuns him on the tarmac and Putin still considers him the idiot that he is. Since obama gained office, the world sees him for the failure that he is and they also see hillary for the second phase of final failure. Johnson is hillary in disguise. His policies and ideas are almost the same, some worse, and a V.P. to take up the slack for the ones that aren't the same to exert more control and violations of our rights.

Politicians promise so much to get the votes. The country can't afford or support it any more. Instead of trying to control, tax, and regulate every one and everything with in the nation, it's time to start using what we have. It's time to reverse the costs, rebuild our educational system, and military. We need to support and stabilize our home. That means less regulation, taxation, and tax payer burdens. Those are just for starters.

Instead of media news, maybe start actually listening to what Trump is actually saying. He's not a perfect speaker by a long shot. He's the only one that can boast saying the same things for about 30 years and he isn't softening on immigration. I do think he might find better wording for things as time goes. Right now, brash and straight forward works much better to have and get things out into the open. If you're looking for perfect; it's the same effect as anything on or off line; it doesn't exist. Government needs to be put back in it's place and the top is a good place to start. No more politicians saying the same things in different ways.

RE: What is your motive??

Mostly to see just how warped a virtual world can be. It can have a sense of humor. A sense of "grouping" and gathering. A sense of "sharing". A sense of dreams and expressions. Maybe even a sense of belonging.

It can be informative, twisted, and generally not very giving unless it's others' willing to give away places and things that don't or won't even affect them.

Meeting people? Dating? Getting too wrapped up sitting and hiding behind a screen? It's not a likely factor for me. I like to take my time and that means a lot of reality. I can easily put any thing virtual on hold. Life won't stop until the day I fall asleep for good.dunno

RE: Hold-UP! ...Clinton & Trump...AMERICA has a third party Presidential Candidate!...

Another career politician. doh

Nope; can't do it. No one I know can do it. Follows conservative concepts with socialist twists. There has to be a foundation. Libertarian doesn't hold one except no harm to others and THAT can be debatable.

Qualifications in politics just means they have the experience to lie and screw the people better.

The concepts of less government, life, freedom, and greater control of the people over their lives is the same as conservatism(less spending) or what republican used to be. What we really need are the jobs markets less regulated and less taxed. Our constitution and laws followed. Our education, military, and legal systems fixed back into, much better working order.....etc. Primary needs and pushes for "Libertarian" to get peoples' attention.

The platform of libertarian is much more broad, questionable, and opens doors that would be better, left limited; maybe even closed. Instead of socialism, which controls, limits, and redistributes every thing; think the exact opposite in which personal property rights are given to every thing, and you have the right to defend yours,(even though as long is it doesn't harm any one, you live the way you want). It is the rise of anarchy. Because it can be such a broad form of "freedom?" and "rights", it leaves too much that can be twisted in the mind of each person as they see fit. A free will that can go amuck. Just what the government needs to cause more chaos over and above the present.

We need less government and it's control, with out a doubt. We still need solid guidelines and foundations to stand on. Actual goals to work on and achieve. "Rights" could easily spill over into a free for all. It could happen quickly or continually be drug out forever like the attempts at socialism. I don't think we need new laws for every little detail(which libertarian claims to negate). obama's "gender, bathroom" issues could be used as a good indicator of things still waiting to be "regulated" or "deregulated", under libertarian. Physical truth always seemed so simple over all of these years.

RE: I See Zombies!!!

It's bad enough that many here in the U.S. note the ignorance and lacking, of our educational, government, and legal system.

It's absolutely sickening when people from other countries bring it up and show it. doh

RE: Prophecy Update News

stringman: I can't disagree that God's hand is being removed from the U.S.. There are distinct differences of when solid foundations were upheld and lines more biblical were followed. As the guidelines have been removed, so has the solidarity and stability. You can pretty much put it into graph form to see it. Financial trouble all over. A larger portion of the wars are political based. obama as a major contributor as far as I'm concerned.

End times? It's a hard call. There are many instances through-out history that fairly fit the descriptions except one. We now have weapons of mass destruction in different forms that didn't exist then. That could be the main difference of biblical description. The Earth will be destroyed by fire. Nuclear or volcanic? Asteroid or solar flare? Atmospheric break down or man made other catastrophe?

We have to be careful with prophecy. Don't get too hasty with end times. No man knows. We have to be careful of deceptions. Government is a major player in the deceptive part. If you claim and/or follow a religion; it can be just as deceptive with certain types of leaders. Government and bad religion are part of the biggest problems. Many things in history blame religion even though the corruption and politics that used it are recorded.

Best to head what Bible tells us about being ready. The parable of the maidens with the oil lamps waiting for the bridegroom. Five brought extra oil with them and 5 did not. The five that didn't were out to get more when the bridegroom arrived and so missed out. I agree with being aware. It's going to be more important to be ready.

It's good to know people still read and take the Bible seriously. There are many more who don't and won't. Personally, it's the most solidly moral, and peaceful book I know of. If people were to actually read and study it.

RE: CS Dating History

No on all accounts.

Am I acquitted now? grin

RE: Phobias?

That one, up there^^^^^^

People are the scariest life forms I know.

It's not full out, sociophobia though. I don't shut down and I'm not afraid to interact. I just keep it limited. No harm, no foul that way.

grin

RE: Do you use slang?

On average; no. Even growing up in the places and areas I did; slang wasn't me. I never boarded that train.

I don't even text short hand.

Once it a great while, I might crack a joke with a co-worker on some term they've used. Other than that, once again, I find myself lacking in being part of that special "group".

RE: 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PROPHECY, USA

The market is already bad. Only predictions for improvement but that's been going on for over a year. No matter hos far "up" something might seem, if it's down from it's steadiest peaks, it's still a loss. It's like money spent. Sure, you can make it back, but what's spent is still gone. Just always hope there's something to show for it.

Since America is one of the biggest consumer countries, and we do have our own resources we can use. If we can actually cut our outside oil dependency, use our resources available to their full potential as we improve and streamline efficiency; we don't have much to worry about; as long as we don't keep a government willing to keep selling us out and giving us away.

Trading, buying, and selling, won't stop because of a change in presidency. It never has. Even though we're being taxed and regulated into oblivion, slowly but surely, America is still a major consumer nation. We just need our job markets to grow and come back so we're not consuming and losing so much from/to the outside any more.

RE: 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PROPHECY, USA

The nation has been continually tanking since NAFTA. Only gotten worse with the obama misadministration and cronies.

Trump is the result of a marxist terrorist government with nothing better to do than worry about who can use the bathroom where. Why? Because the educational system has tanked along with the nation's foundations and the people have been absolutely stupid about keeping the government in check, on actual, important issues, for the nation AND citizens. While people ignore the truth of just how messed up the U.S. is at the moment, there is no telling what bills or executive orders might truly be in the works to erode more of the nation away.

We know what more politicians will do with out question. It's all that they haven't done that Trump has risen so high up.

I'm for Trump. Since politicians can't do any thing worth while, including remove the crap in the nations white house while it continues to dismantle and destroy; it's well past time to allow for some one speaking out about the problems and willing to work on them.

Secure our borders, stop being the world's welfare system, put the nation and citizens first. Rebuild our military and what ever it takes with in reason to get our economy going again. Get our nations foundations back. Increase and put our education system back on track.
There is so much that has been screwed up, it will only take a little effort, to see an improvement.

Actually; since Trump is so highly ranked, I think a lot more people have awakened than I give credit for. Let's hope we're right because we can't afford much more "hope and change" and "that's not who we are" rhetoric. Especially if another one of those cronies/politician gets to succeed the worst fraud, America has ever had to date.

RE: PEOPLE DONT CHANGE.THEY JUST FIND NEW WAYS TO LIE TO YOU.

People do change. If with a partner; is it together or living separate lives while playing "house"?

The question might be: have they invested time, communication with their partner so that they both change, and hopefully grow, together?

What I don't agree with is that people grow apart. If this is true, it may signify that both have been neglecting each other. I absolutely admire the couples that have been able to work and communicate through it all and flourish to the end.

Yes. There are those that were never sincere from the beginning so over time, they "move on" with out you or even in spite of you. These can be some of the harshest dealings a person might have to go through. They can interject long term, personal havocs, of their own. Only time reveals the best or worse in any one or any thing.

It still takes work and effort but I always wish the best for any one.

RE: Not sure if this is International, or for U.S.A. only

I've been at POF for years. Scary profile so either truly sincere or exceptionally crazy only, MIGHT bother a little.

Other than that; there's Twoo and...and THIS site. I guess I'll never be good at this virtual stuff much. I don't even try.

Good luck to you rohaan. cheers

RE: Trump it is

Trump has my vote. applause

Too many things have gone on to try summing up anything.
It's going to be an uphill battle for a long while, if we make it past the "killary" or "Bern" factor, at election time.

Even if we manage to get the nation back on track and in a better direction; unless we can re-establish and uphold a morally "just" foundation, nothing good will last long and could easily be undone once again.

RE: questions.

I haven't used either one in years for chat. From what I can remember, I liked the, built in, Gmail chat feature much better.

RE: Illegal Immigration: Trump and Cruz

Let's not forget the past news casts where immigration departments heads were grilled on why they weren't following through with deportations.

Just like many tout immigrant taxes? The mix of articles in my first post, points out that those primarily help federal while states and tax payers tend to support the blunt of government assistance.

To tout illegal immigrants taxes; one would first, have to consider: how many citizens are out jobs that would, also, be paying taxes.

I've no idea the number of early retirement stats any more for not being able to find jobs. It helps pad the numbers.

How many dropped and just collecting what ever it is they are getting. Some social security, some government assistance. It helps pad the numbers.

We are starting to close another seasonal trend of out side work: construction and repair, clean up, harvesting, and more. What will the numbers be then? Many illegal immigrants had many of those jobs too.

RE: Illegal Immigration: Trump and Cruz

I didn't say illegal immigrants are the cause. You spun that in yourself.

We know they don't really help. Lower wages help citizens how? Illegals being hired over citizens will help citizens how? Government assistance for lowered wages help citizens how?

obama has been fighting for amnesty very hard. Your claims of higher deportation are false. It takes media power and murder for anything right to be done while wrong, in ignoring the laws, will still be the normal.

I suppose many won't pay attention to H-1B. It's not just median or blue collar jobs being affected by immigration and lack of enforcement towards immigration. Imported labor and immigrant labor affects citizens negatively at all levels.

RE: Illegal Immigration: Trump and Cruz

Illegal immigrants are here. The government knows it. obama is the one that supports it the most. It takes away from citizens at all levels. Jobs is a major hit against the citizens. that in turn, also puts more citizen households forced into government assistance. Crap does roll down hill and with the lack of leadership this nation has right now, we'll never fully know or understand the impacts until it continues to impact us directly more and more in our own house holds.

Old outdated articles on pluses that don't exist, no longer hold water. Since 2008, our economy has been in the tank and nothing in government has been helping. They're not supposed to be here and the laws need to be enforced. Trump's wall will work more than we know. It will be a matter of upkeep and updating as needed to improve it. Nothing is 100% but it's a huge start in a correct direction.

Here is a mix of articles. Notice they seem to start more recently, then go down hill when times were a lot more economically sound for the nation.

RE: a woman leader

Trump is the only one that has stood his ground. Even holding with some of his views from 28 years ago. He's also the only one that has changed some views to more positive outlooks and stands by those as well.

I can't get past Rubio's play when he was part of obama's "gang of eight". Can't afford that ind of "fold up" again. Cruz will stand on the Constitution and such. Cruz also makes me nervous with immigration and other hot topics. He will stand against government, which is a virtuous trait rarely seen any more. Trump has some things less talked about that have me worried. Imminent Domain as an example. It's not shaping up to be the lesser of two evils like it's been so much of in the past. No candidate has a perfect record things about them that shouldn't be questioned. It's a matter of who we think will do the best on the most dangerous effects we are hit with, right now.

RE: a woman leader

Christie has done much in the past that helped obama. There isn't much that a politician can say that doesn't like, greased, snake oil. There is only one politician that has stood against obama and even his other "party?" members. Cruz is proven better than ANY politician, to stand on principle, the Constitution, and for constituents. That is the only politician I could endorse. Fiorina, Carson? They can sound good, but comments already made or actions already done, rule them out. That only leaves Trump as a non-politician. A Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump, would be a winning ticket. I'm tired if lip service. Actions and results will get my vote in 2016 and right now, only two are in the running.

These are my opinions based on actions for and during the obama regime's "undertaking" since it wrongfully gained office. No one is perfect and only extreme few have stood while others folded. Only a few can tout success where others are hazed with failures.

There's no telling what can of worms might be opened up any other way or time.doh

RE: The Niqab

I agree with you. Except that most women won't have the brute strength of a man and no man will ever be able to give birth. Not to mention the other, lovable, physical differences. grin

RE: what wouldn't you share

Inner most thoughts and vulnerabilities. Good answer, for the most part.

There isn't really any thing I can think of, that I wouldn't be willing to share.

Some things would take more time than others to share on a personal level.

That includes, inner thoughts and vulnerabilities. All the fears I keep to myself only to realize that I may never be truly fearful about much at all.

Maybe overly cautious might be more of an issue.
