I agree, but because first term presidents nearly always lose Congress after the first two years. A lot of Republicans wouldn't care if the U.S. became a Russian colony - if Trump was elected again. Price of gas and food have been brought on by a lot of things. Can you say Federal Reserve, Covid, greedy corporations, Putin, a Saudi King who tortured and dismembered an American journalist?
I think the reason The first two years are so bad for presidents is they are like father figures. Their electorate in a small part thinks their life sucks and even though they got their guy, their life still sucks.
All this phony doom and gloom. We should be rejoicing that the hit man missed when he tried to assassinate our democracy...........
When the secret service started up Pence's car as our Capitol was invaded, he told his personal bodyguard he wouldn't enter it - he said he trusted his bodyguard but he " didn't know who was behind the wheel !!!!"

I watched an episode of "the worlds worst job" of a guy working on a huge pig farm. When I watched him pull a paint scraper out of the slop they fed the pigs I couldn't eat hot dogs for a year.
I was enraged when Putin's vile gang was killing and raping children. The D.C. republicans aren't any better. I watched a fox news lady anchor when Putin invaded Ukraine. "Putin is a powerful man, who cares if he invades Ukraine". Fox doesn't say that much anymore.
The NRA , the House and the Senate have been controlled by corrupt lobbies for decades. They would sell a child for five bucks if someone offered it to them.
