I do not think it is that people do not really care anymore, I think that with all the violence, hatred, etc., the way the world is today...Fear is what has alienated the kindness of others from reaching out. It is a sad state of affairs indeed. I am glad you listened with your Heart.
I agree with what you have said, Assets. It is quite a risky gamble to leave your home and friends to move somewhere else. I have seen this happen many times and if the relationship does not work out, someone is left without the home they had before. It is not an easy thing to start over again.
