Hey Gilly

It is actually very rewarding, you get to see how the patient is when they first come in from surgery or a fall, usually depressed and hurting so bad they can't even move. Then you get to see the progress they make as their rehab and therapy make them stronger and they feel better about themselves. Some of them are so grateful that I just help them take a shower!!! It can also be very frustrating when you see ones that can do for themselves but just won't!!

I have created a positive atmosphere for my rehab patients and in the process have created many friendships. Does that count?

Know exactly how you feel. Was at my old job for 20 yrs and wasn't an easy one either. Even though I did enjoy most aspects of my job was getting burned out by most of it. So got some training then got a new job.
