Just a more positive suggestion than others offer. 1 - Disconnect from the mains & remove the glass caorousel tray and bearimg ring. 2. - Turn the case on its side to remove the base plate.& expose the drive. (depending on what make it is there should be a drive belt which drives the turntable so 3. Check the tightness of that drive as it could be slack and slipping.tcause the table to stop when under load. 4. If slack - loosen the motor mounting Screws and tighten the belt - re- tighten screws and test under power. 5 If cured disconnect from the power - Re- assemble the base plate and refit the ring.& turntable - 6 power up - That should have cured it
