I was asked that question many years ago in in my early 20's so If your question is open to men who respect ladies I will answer the same as I did then. - I would go for the first option and Love. Plus
1. Hope that both of us would do our best to provide for and take care of each other.
2. I would have a second profession to provide more security for us and
3. Do my best to protect her against any Harm or outside Interference, with my own life if needs be .

I did my best on all three counts but still lost my wife after 41 years to a sudden stroke that proved fatal.
Despite a Parsimonious lecture from a Public school senior C of E Bible puncher I told him ** Cheers but I've booked my place to play Drums in Mepphys big jazz band downstairs 'cos I can't stand "Flapping" angels wings, Harpists and tone deaf Trumpeters. **

Why awe ?
I only learned what I know from Training, Employment and studying my listed interests and some of what I say is debatable.
BUT one thing learned when I was serving in the RAF on a development squadron with ground-crew who served in the Korean war and we were able to discuss what went on there. -- The US and Our Forces were all set to finish North Korea off so it would have been one nation. - But it was the Far East politicians including China & Russia who put the Block on it happening.
so after centuries it became officially divided to North & South Korea
I don't think we will see the public evidence of who said what when and how etc under an "X" years ban "rule"
