DEDICATIONS - TO THE LATE SIR BRUCE FORSYTH

I decided to set this dedication thread up for all his admirers and anyone who worked for, with and has known Sir Bruce in a professional capacity or via his charity work for which he was knighted.
I stand by what my musician colleagues think about him who contacted yesterday and today

Before I ceased working as a musician professionally in 2000 I worked in Trio's Quartets and larger supporting bands that backed Bruce.
He was a true professional and was always a gentleman.--
Bruce's Jazz piano style and singing was very much influenced by the late Sammy Davis Junior to whom he payed a fantastic tribute in 1991 and Nat king Cole who also played Jazz Piano with his own trio. Unfortunately I don't know how to get You tube on here but here is the Sammy D' 1991 tribute, with a Big Band

Nat Cole Quartet Route 66

I worked professionally several times behind Bruce at the Winter Gardens in Margate, some Golf Club's and several other Gigs throughout Kent & Surrey on charity gigs etc -
He always acknowledged the musicians backing him both ON and Off stage, before, during his act and even after the show. many of us who knew him will say Bruce always made Time for people and his sincerity and devotion to charity work is unsurpassed.

Unlike many other far less talented so called Stars & "Celebrities" with less manners and training whom I could name, I now say of SIR Bruce, unreservedly and on behalf of all my fellow Musicians who contacted me yesterday
and today.

Nice to have met you, - Nice to have known you. - Nice to have worked with you and you have my lifelong Respect - RIP
