Compassion is understanding how another person feels, without always the need to take it from them. Sometimes the most compassionate thing to do for someone is to let them feel their pain, not trying to lessen it's impact, for that is how one grows beyond it.
In that case, yeah there's limits to what I want shared. Some things are just gross, and if that's their fantasy, I don't want any part of their real world.
Yeah I would wonder about a guy who doesn't really want to meet. What's he got to hide? And the ones who have nothing but a cell phone, or don't want you to come see them. Been there done that. Bottom line, believe nothing till you've seen for yourself.
I guess you're right, I never had the offer! It's bad enough having poor men thinking they can boss you around, can't imagine how one who really thought he owned you would act!
We've got everything we want here, so much so that everyone else is either trying to get in or trying to tear us down to their level. We are free to do and be what we want within reason, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. We've got better leaders than most countries, not that that's saying much for them, but still ...
You don't hear Americans running down other countries much, ever wonder why it seems to be such sport for others to run us down?
RE: What's your definition of compassion.
No one else in the world thinks like him, why do you think we keep him around?
