Haven't seen any of them but Sweeney Todd, and that' def not my dream, more like nightmare! I couldn't stand that movie, just got it cause I like Johnny Depp.
I read this a long time ago and I didn't even think of that till I read the ending. We women are so not used to being given our choice in anything, or I wasn't back then!
I wish I could have been there to see that! And believe me, if the landscape guys are like the ones here, they couldn't care less if you have on cute underwear!
Stepping out of my pants, by accident anyways, has never been big on my list of problems! Congrats on losing the weight!
And where the frack have you been girlie? Oh lord, now the fun really begins!
Does anyone else notice these all say almost the same thing. All enjoy a peaceful environment, so who doesn't? I'm red and blue, you'd think totally different types, but they both say the same thing basically. Any one of these could be me at different times, so I guess I'm a rainbow too. Not in the gay way, not that there's anything wrong with it!
Oh God bless your sweet heart. I can't think of anything much worse to do for a living, I didn't even like my own daughter much at that age! Too many new conflicting hormones running rampant through the halls! Someone would die, probably me!
I'm thinking about it, since I may be moving into a new house that will need heating/cooling upgrades. I have propane where I live now, would there too if I go gas, but thinking of a heat pump. Last year I ran out of gas just before the end of winter and just used electric space heaters the last month or two, and with the price of gas now electricity wasn't any more expensive than buying gas.
This is a fun thread, interesting seeing what people do besides blather away on here.
I'm an optician, which is just a fancy way of saying I sell glasses, contacts, etc. at a retail chain. Really there's more to it than that, but that's the company's bottom line. I really like it, I like interacting with patients/customers. Sometimes I even get to know more about them than what they need in eyewear. Since I work evenings when it's not busy usually I can spend time chatting with folks, get to hold babies sometimes while mom tries on glasses, stuff like that, it's loads of fun till you get an @$$hole, but I can usually handle them. I just have to remember it's not me they're pi$$ed at.
Oh another hint. After you've been on here longer and start getting photo ratings, you can look at who likes your pic, it tells ya everyone who gave you an 8 and up. If you see someone that you like, you can tell em thanks.
Took me a while to figure out some of these tricks. I don't do it all the time, it can get frustrating if you look too hard and it's the same ol' same ol' every day, but every once in a while I'll go trolling to see what's new. Every once in a while I'll spot a maybe!
That does help. I say all the time, the forums are not everyone's cup of tea. I like em, but everyone doesn't come on here, for whatever reason. Doesn't mean they wouldn't be interesting in person.
Do a local search, look and see if there's anyone remotely interesting. Since you're new, you can send a flower saying hey, I just joined and saw your profile, whatever. Don't be too forward on first contact, guys that send me their email or phone number right off the bat don't get anything but a thanks but no thanks.
I like to look at who's viewed me also, if there's someone that looks interesting close by, I'll drop em a line. May not hear anything, may get rejected but who cares, it's worth a try. Shoot, we're hear to meet people, if we ignore 90% of the population of the site, all we're doing is chit-chatting to pass the time. Not that there's anything wrong with that, if that's all ya want, but if you're serious about meeting someone, ya gotta get out there and look around!
Just drop it, how long are you gonna beat this dead horse.
We all want answers after a split, but sometimes there just are none. If the person has blocked contact with you, it means they don't want to explain, or can't. Sometimes we just have to reconcile what we know in our own minds, learn the lesson and move on.
