I know a lot of this goes on and have seen it for myself
although there is no manual for raising your children there is plenty of courses to help
over the past 11 years I have been on several courses such as Living with Teenagers, Pram to Primary, my favourite was Parent Survival Skills
I also joined Parent Support Groups as it helps to know you are not the only one going through it with your kids.
Only this morning, a mum from the school asked me how do I keep so calm when my 9 yr old is kicking off (he doesn't like school) on the way to school, because she would have "lost it" I told her once you have lost it they have won as they know which buttons to press and what makes you tick!!!!
that does not you sound like a bad person, I would have to think long and hard before I re-located anywhere, I have 5 chidren which 3 are "grown up" which 2 still live at home (most of the time) and I have a 14 yr old and a 9 yr old which I am responsible for, so just to up and move would be not on my agenda at the moment
Congratulations Trish
