China is another step towards global democracy, and a democratic society isn't born overnight. China seems to be headed in a much better direction now than they were. So I wouldn't say that free eneterprise is a bad thing for China. It is bad for we Americans that are losing our jobs, because greedy American companies are moving there.
The reason you may limit access to reporters may be because of hieghtened security, and as far as bending at knee. I bow before no one.
I may not want to live in China, but they have a deep rooted culture with good values. It is a place I would love to visit. As for France...I've flown over ,around,under and anyway I could just so I wouldn't set foot on it. No offense to you...Your history speaks for itself. The only place that would be truly an honor to stand in France are the beaches at Normandy where so many allied soldiers died...FOR YOU??? Ask a German if they would rather be living under a dictatorship or a democracy?

Believe me...She maybe thinking of you,but not the way you would want her to think about you. She is with another guy, and it is best to move on, and please take my advice on this one. It is great that you get along for the sake of your child.
Wether she thinks of you or not doesn't matter much anymore...Her mind was made up when she left you, and definitly made up after meeting another guy. Letting go of someone you love is never easy. It will take time to heal,but if you don't move on these thoughts will drive you crazy...Good luck.

I agree that the US should become more isolationist, and let other countries deal with there own problems. If we are attacked here...Then let them feel our wrath...Though it helps to know who attacked you before you run off and start an endless and costly war. The UK seems to have gotten too passifistic in there approach to world affairs, and waaaaaaay to PC. It is not much different than the US. Though we may be fighting all over, and everywhere. We have forgotten that war leaves no room for mercy, and we are Waaaaay to worried about what other little crappy countries think about us. That's right...I said it...These little crappy countries think they should have a say. I say drop an egg on them also, and maybe they'll keep there mouths shut.
