Ok, fair play, but that's just my point, a simple biological approach. Biological to what? To conditions WE can live in.
Think outside the box for a sec, how many planets do you think the entire Universe contains? No-one knows. A hell of a lot more than the ones we've discovered in just our own tiny little bit of it, that we call our solar system that's for sure! It is impossible for Earth to be the only inhabited one!!!
To think that we are not only the only planet in just our solar system, but also the only planet in the entire Universe to have a lifeform occupying it, you'd have to be incredibly stupid!!!
This is a very difficult one to put into words, I know what I want to say, but I know it's gonna come out scrambled!! Here goes:
You know the saying "It's a man's world", well nearly all the biggest businesses on our planet are headed by men, right? In the business world a woman is generally limited as to how much power is given to them (I'm not on about political power, but yes, Thatcher was a monster of a mistake!!) Now, in Britain (or more to the point,England) we have this thing called "the old boy network", which is to do with Public Schools ( paying schools for the incredibly posh & rich), basically the top jobs in Britain are nearly all held by ex-public schoolboys, the"I'll rub your back if you rub mine" kind of favours to get each other these positions of wealth. Now the public schools are near enough ALL white, and through the "old boy network" they sort each other out, so you can imagine how hard it is for a black man to break into their "in bred family" circle, it just wouldn't be cricket to Sir Incredibly-Posh double-barrelled surname now, would it? Positions would be discussed over a "business dinner" in an exclusive members only "Gentleman's club", and if you didn't go to the right school, you're out!!
Ever see the Eddie Murphy film, Trading Places? It might be funny, but unfortunately there is a realism to the 2 brothers' attitude!!! It's ugly head exists!!
Finally thought: If loads of people still think their saviour is white when he was meant to be born in the Middle East, what hope for success has an ORDINARY black man?
Ok, fair play Starlite, but for people who aren't from the States, it's generally heard in a negative manner, thus my Dirty Harry qoute, as I recall I never heard anyone in Friends call someone "punk" affectionately!!!
Unfortunately, in America "punk" is a word used for a low-life! I mean, was there a mohawk or mohican in sight when Clint Eastwood said "do you feel lucky, punk?" No there bloody well wasn't!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!
we'll miss you A.... you're er.....A1!
Howdo Woody!!! You know what I mean, don't you? First time we spoke was when I commented on Conrad using the word punk in a derogative manner!!!
I done a poll thread about a month ago, (thread killer) and thanks to words having different meanings in different countries, out of 22 votes, 10 people admitted they ignored my threads because I have the word PUNK in my screen-name!!!
So Sommer, there you have it, the answer in some people's case is definately YES!!!
Who would have thought that my tough new exercise regime of being hours hunch-backed over a computer could have got me in such good shape!.....and I've become a dab hand at basketball too!
Thanx for thinking of me to use in your final one, I'm flattered and honoured
RE: do u like men with long hair?
