Probable a Nigerian scammer. I get these kind of emails all the time, and in return for a check or an ATM card worth millions, they say all I have to do is pay a delivery fee of a few hundred dollars. One time I told them no (as I always do) and gradually, the scammer lowered his "request from $600 to ultimately down to $60. He quit emailing when I gave him the silent treatment. If this happens to you again, act surprised and say something like, "But I need to ask YOU for some money." Pour it on nice and thick, act clingy and he will quit begging.
YES! The US wastes so much. It is especially bad in any kind of restaurant and fast food establishment. I work part time in one and a lot is cooked up in advance and kept warm for a while to be ready to serve on short notice. By a certain time, if it all hasn't sold, it is thrown out. This costs the parent company money and I really don't understand how they dont squawk at the (lost) expense. There is a hunger and food insecurity problem in the small town where I live. Now multiply this many times over, especially in large cities. Even animal shelters can use cooked and warmed over hamburgers.
Look us Aspergers Syndrome. It has a variety of outward behavior problems. I have it myself and relating to others is difficult to this day as an adult. I manage on the outside but on the inside is a whole different matter. He definitely sounds as if he has some sort of personality disorder. Untreated, he can't help acting the way he does. He may not realize he has a problem.
