Not true for all: I would prefer an indecent woman...her sense of humour would be much better and we could both demand more hedonism for the deprived...applause

RE: An Aristotle quote.

Thoughts....You do realize that a lot of people have a very hard time thinking about anything let alone have any original thoughts whatsoever on anything that doesn't have to do with the urgent satisfaction of their most basic urges. That is why those are compared to sheep and/ or cattle or some form of primate. Food, booze and copulation are all they aspire to. Those types couldn't even spell Aristotle let alone their own names if over four letters...Real demos as in democracy, in reality.

RE: Who is going to be the next King ?

Let's have some levity for a change; either Eric Idle or John Cleese...please!applause

RE: Why god create the universe ??

1. Love your primitive English; it's barely coherent. One would think that after the British ruled India, with their language as virtually mandatory that you'd have a better use of it.
2. People are going to have a problem with your questions ; there are 2 opposing views on all of this: a conspiracy or a screw-up. If we have created God, it is a fairly logical supposition, but once created/ invented, it is absolutely impossible to disprove God exists. Is there a God who conspired to set the universe up in motion, or is it just a screw-up, an accidental explosion which has lasted for 15 or 20 billion years? Conspiracy or screw-up, it's a free choice.
How would you feel about the universe if you thought it was shrinking and not
expanding ? Would you feel less optimistic? Would it affect you at all? Some people may worry; was it a 'Bing Bang' or was it a 'Big Laugh'...an explosion of God's laughter. Like organisms. Seeding the Universe.
Life is the puzzle. Life is the weirdness. Given time, the physical Universe becomes biological and grows intelligence. Why ? Why is Life present in the Universe, is it because that without life the Universe does not exist ? It needs an observer to make it all real ; like a post Heisenberg world. Does God then have a sense of humour? Well, God does "move in mysterious ways" as we humans say, but I'm not quite sure that God's manner of walking is what inspired John Cleese to create the Ministry of Silly Walks. Then again who can say... Suffice it to say that as gravity attracts and compresses, levity expands the Universe as levity is the opposite of gravity, like bubbles in champagne...laugh

RE: Smack'em in the head thread....

That sounds very familiar; we currently have one woman doing just that as she keeps getting kicked off the site for calling people some rather nasty names, but is back within a day; same country, same general area of a large city....So far she's had seven profiles if I'm counting correctly.....laugh

RE: what is most important on the world?

Excellent! I hadn't thought in that direction, but you're onto one way if it spreads to become more viable; I was thinking along the lines of drug development that would become the most wanted, sold, bought and stolen drug in the world that prolongs life to a point that the body simply cannot rejuvenate itself, each person having a different rate which would render the 'extra time' as 'indefinite'...the drug(s?) could then become a currency...

RE: PICTURE THREAD - another try...

2008; it ain't over yet. Perhaps a replay...laugh

RE: I died today!

RE: I died today!

"I died today. You got tired of me and took me to the shelter. They
were overcrowded and I drew an unlucky number. I am in a black plastic bag in a landfill now.
...Would I still be at home if I had made you happy? Hitting me didn't
make me learn how.

...Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and
to teach manners to me? You didn't pay attention to me after the first week or so, but I spent all my time waiting for you to love me.

I died today...."

It could also beside of and by people...pups and kittens aren't the only 'babies' dumped...

RE: who is strong enough to face Trouble in life

Ali, you're out of step with current fashion correctness; your list forgot to include Transgenders...shame be upon you...
(don't be upset, Canadian television is now rewriting their shows to include them as role models for several series...not that people watch them in any great numbers, but it means more will watch US TV until they also play catch-up and start putting them in ads and shows . Living in a society that firmly believes in the tyranny of the majority by a minority is ...exhilarating. Do you think Pakistani govt. will assign each village with a few transgenders, then perhaps some hot chicks from Bombay...or Homos from Delhi...?laugh
(what are the rents like in your part of the country? Just asking...grin )

RE: Americans

You haven't heard any of the american female newscasters...sharp, loud and that 'gawd' awful 'twang' in their voices, but then again, CNN isn't much better; the worst are on BBC...can't hear many of them as they seem to mumble in either high or low frequencies or they speak as if they will drop dead any millisecond from boredom whole some of the males dress and act like little 'poofs' deigning to read the news on a coffee table...all totally distracting from actually being able to get the news...which is actually better than canadian news news from the CBC ; traffic light out in Gumball, Ontario and they will dissect it for hours....is very typicalfrustrated laugh

RE: Boxing legend Muhammad Ali died Friday, June 3, at age 74,

Well, no Trumpleforskin supporters will mourn a Muslim, let alone a Black Muslim. If he had lived on, he may have been banned or thrown out of the US of Trump... Strange how he's avoided answering any question relating to his policy of banning Muslims in regards to Black Muslims...
