RE: European people as 0ne??

Give those poor teeming hordes of tens of thousands of illegals making their way north to the US border enough time, They want to make America look like Latin America: a giant cesspool of "mud people" as many Americans label them...After it happens, they'll go back to their old home countries as nothing will work again in the the US. Everything will collapse.

RE: status

Status or statues? One can never be sure given your expertise in misspelling the simplest of English words?
If it is statues, is it that infatuation with Agalmatophilia that caused you to post , wanting help with your condition? Don't be shy about it, it could be Hierophilia or even Homillophilia in which case, you'd never be able to go to a church again...laugh

RE: An Aristotle quote.

Are you kidding; all could be removed but not their damn salt. Virtually everything editable or drinkable here has at least several tea spoons of salt in it; one of the worst are all the "greek yogurts" one cannot find a single salt free yogurt in any store, especially the so called "health food stores"...then there is sugar, which makes me wonder if 'they' add salt to sugar and sugar to salt...doh frustrated very mad

RE: An Aristotle quote.

Given the huge amounts of various chemicals that we are always told are good for our health, that are dumped into our water reservoirs along with anti psychotics, me thinks the water comparison has been canceled...All water should now carry health hazard warnings and a listing of all known side effects.sigh

RE: An Aristotle quote.

actually, I just meant the actual skin prints of the cheeks, not the 'hole' but since you mention it, ok, the prints can also include those too...imagine processing them, as with fingers; the ink, the pressing down on paper forms....and then the wiping of the ink off...and then a 'mug shot' or an asse shot; imagine photographing those all day....rolling on the floor laughing

RE: what do you want ?

I would rather have the truffles in bed; the sardines can sleep on the floor or stay wrapped in old newsprint, English style and you could send out for chips....you know, "fish & chips"...laugh

RE: An Aristotle quote.

Quite a few decades. He wrote many books, all best sellers; fiction and non-fiction. Screenplays for several movies which became either cult films, (like Myra Breckenridge, a total riot of the absurd life in Hollywood and was banned for years...rolling on the floor laughing ) His biographies are superb of many famous people in history. He was, prolific and certainly , personally, the best writer to ever come out of the US. His many political papers are all dead-on accurate as to the total corruption of the US. govt. I wouldn't part with any of his books...Check out all he's written, find some and enjoy.wine

RE: did you hear about the bad doctor?

"Doctors think a lot of patients are cured who have simply quit in disgust" Don Herold
The most useful virtue is having patients...the principle part of faith is having patients.
He that can have patients can have what he will...Benjamin Franklin, aka Benny Baby...
Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patients...the man who lacks patients also lacks philosophy. lack of pep is often mistaken for patients. Of all the qualities of an excellent character, patients is enough; a man who is master of patients is master of everything else. Don't ask the doctor, ask the patient! It's not the drugs that kill, it's the doctor...(Japanese proverb) Patients are a virtue, you must believe that...rolling on the floor laughing
Patients/ patience....no real difference...laugh

RE: An Aristotle quote.

And what do you think "happiness" is.. money, cars, women? Or is it just money or cars?laugh Money can't buy happiness, it just helps you look for it in a lot more places and searching for happiness is one of the chief sources for unhappiness...laugh
Some people have the gift of happiness wherever they go, others, whenever they leave; like in a large, loving, caring, close knit family...in another city far from where you live...wine

RE: An Aristotle quote.

To quote Schopenhauer, " For a weak head,(brain), thinking is as intolerable as the lifting of a heavy burden to a weak arm: both put it down in a hurry."
Or as in a million people there are a thousand thinkers, and in a thousand thinkers there is one thinker...to think is to search for a clearing in some woods...but you won't find one in a forest.laugh The mania of thinking renders one unfit for activity; people won't think first and act afterwards. From the moment of birth we are immersed in actions and can only fitfully guide it by taking thought.
Confucius put it this way," Thinking without learning makes one flighty, and learning without thinking is a disaster." Which is to say that there is nothing that most people won't do to avoid actually thinking, let alone thinking things out...laugh
Every thought is an exception to the general rule: people do not think, or as Robert Henri put it, "There are mighty few people who think what they think they think..." One might get people to think by telling them that thinking is immoral...rolling on the floor laughing wine

RE: An Aristotle quote.

"Thinking is sometimes injurious to health"
Seems a lot people on the forums firmly believe this...laugh
