RE: do u beleive in justice?do we have justice gennerally?

"Justice" is a relative term like good, bad, evil, normal.
There is no universal definition or acceptance as to meaning(s)

RE: spacewalk

Only one-hour and 36 minutes?! Whatever they/ you were using, must have been rather weak. I suggest that the next hit be a lot stronger! (Are we talking about the same kind of 'space-walk?)laugh

RE: Generally speaking, is the United Nations doing a good job?

It is doing an absolutely marvellous job of failing to live up to its mandate, its ideals and its purpose. It is a spectacular failure.

RE: Would you travel to neighbor country to see your online talking partner?

Thankfully I do not live there!laugh

RE: noah the film

It would be the proverbial 'cold day in Hell' before I would go to a film puporting to show the world flood and the arc. I have read a dozen translations over the years of the first and original version of the flood from the ancient Sumerian. With each new translation a new picture of those events emerges and I've read over 25.
If the original was ever made into a movie, it might just resemble more of a 'sci-fi' event than some crude basic primitive savages trying to built a barge to sail from the Black Sea to India loaded with their flocks given the updating of the ancient language for modern translation for people to understand by linguistic experts with all the ancient and related languages. The OT version is so short and lacklustre compared to the much older Sumerian. Try reading that instead of a plagiarized and rewritten version separated by more than a couple of thousands of years inherited by the ancient Babylonians from their own distant relatives of Sumer.

RE: If God created man in his own image ......

Depends on whose God, yours, ours or their's, doesn't it.
Try various dictionaries and look up 'image' and 'likeness' in several, then compare them.
"Bad guys" is a very relative term to most people with an education, not of someone that probably failed 'nap-time' or had to repeat 'Sandbox' several times.

RE: What is your favourite type of music

Conceptual Music that goes along with Conceptual Art, like when viewing something by Yoko Ono, listen to something she composed...or Dada songs from a Futurism score sheet...rolling on the floor laughing
Seriously, I love the old Delta Blues, Jazz and Baroque. "Art music" one really has to be in the 'disturbed mode', disturbed being relative, of course...wine

RE: Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia thinks that black people should not be allowed to vote

An observation: It all begins to feel as if I'm re-reading the novel "V For Vendetta"...mixed with A Clockwork Orange...all rather depressing outlooks for a supposed coming 'enlightenment' from the so called Boomer legacy. Misfits will remain misfits in any pantheon of New Gods; human nature will not evolve but it will surely devolve. That cannot be stopped by any legislation or circumstance. Should you survive the coming attraction of a new war soon to be playing in your own backyard, perhaps the world of "V" may seem that your generation was once at Heaven's Gate but it was locked with just the proverbial hand scratched note saying something like 'Out to lunch'...or perhaps 'closed for repairs'...but only if any of you survive. War always remains the 'great equalizer'; it reduces everyone to the levels of savages and then just bones. Yours will be just another empire of bones. You will succeed in becoming exactly like those whom you despise. Not a good end.

RE: How many hours do u sleep?

rolling on the floor laughing Bravo! For many here, being PC is their life's mission. Pathetic.

RE: Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia thinks that black people should not be allowed to vote

These people don't read anything longer than a comic strip, besides, the book is long out of print and the writer way out of style.
Act One is already in place with the 'Corpo' power brokers...now, where is the new version of Haik...if any had the nerve...laugh

RE: Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia thinks that black people should not be allowed to vote

Ras427: “Why is the right to vote in need of a law or act? And why to we distrust the media on Monday yet fully beloved them when it's condusive to our line of thinking on Tuesday? Americans are truly mindless.

So true!laugh
In the US Costitution, there is no absolute right to vote, for anyone, the 13th and 15th Amendments not withstanding,; the language is very ambivalent. Why it was written with such a multitude of interpretations is beyond the comprehension of both the citizens and govt. of the US. Perhaps it would be best to finally put a absolute end to all ambivalence of language and to leave no room for any interpretations except one that will finally be made law for the entire country. Call for a Constitutional Convention and thrash it out once and for all, meaning delegates and citizens do not leave until it is done...IF it is worth doing at all. Might just be easier for some group to take power and announce the US Constitution null and void; appoint a dictator and go on from there. Many, it seems, would prefer that to allowing the current President and the current state of affairs to continue. Sometimes, for a nation to survive, they, the people and/ or the government must risk making it/ themselves over into something else. Dictatorship of one sort or another is a way to finally do this. What is the age old adage...'to save all, one must risk all' is one or one could go with, 'let justice be done and let the Heavens fall', is another. Lots of choices, but one must be made at long last. It'll clear the air....conversing grin

RE: Canada

This photo reminds me of Banff. One steps off the train and this is what you see, but the photo seems chopped, one can't see all the empty bottles of wine and whiskey littering the ground...or the drug needleslaugh

RE: Solitary

I could not have said it any better. I tried twice to get out of that seemingly eternal emptiness and hollowness. I figured that anyone was , had to be better than no one. I just crossed my fingers and hoped that somehow things would work out. 'Things' didn't but not being lonely was relished while it lasted.
Now I no longer care. I have lived alone most of my life, childhood included. No one wanted me and though I tried to adjust and accept that , it is at times still hard but futile to hope, especially when I see how happy others can be and those that are. Thank God not everyone is not as I am; not so unwanted.

RE: Who choose your birth name ?

Ha! I knew her and that is why I have my doubts! For all I know, she may have been at a local cafe' with Dali...%D
For myself, I named my 2 children with complete agreement. , and my our cats. laugh

RE: Who choose your birth name ?

Good question; if I ever did ask. I have no recollection of any answer. Hell, I'm not even sure which parent was present at my birth...laugh
Then again, whoever named me didn't do any of us a favour. It was the wrong name in the wrong country at the wrong time.sigh

RE: U.S. NAVAL SHIP TASK FORCE SENT NEAR KOREA

Just send 'Moe' a year's subscription of the usual Hollywood Glamour and Star magazines. That should keep him entranced for a while, oh, and include an order of fries with that!laugh

RE: Do you follow the news about Turkey?

Bomb Turkey? Patience, they'll get to it , to be sure. To fully grasp how the US turns on one time allies in the Middle East, find a copy of the National Geographic Magazine for November 2009 in which Syria and "Doctor Bashar, a U.K. trained ophthalmologist became president after the death of his father..." is praised for all he has done for his country and people and for all his efforts to bring a stable peace to the regional fighting...24 pages!
National Geographic Magazine is a pure propaganda tool of the US govt. and has been ever since the end of the Vietnam war. One can gauge their entire foreign policy outlook from their articles on leaders and countries.
Soon after all the praise, the turn started, as if Syria was next on the US hit list, as some predicted. While, officially the magazine denies being a CIA propaganda tool, most knowledgeable people use it as a 'barometer' of 'the winds of change' to see which country and leader is next to either be 'promoted' or set-up as the next target for 'regime change'. One can virtually pick out the next country where Coca-Cola will be setting up their new vending machines as they always follow the downfall of a one time ally or enemy; same with certain oil companies. This has been well known for decades.
The only good thing about National Geographic is all their articles on animals. One can read it online. And yes, Erdogan, has been highly praised in that magazine as 'a staunch US ally'...rolling on the floor laughing
God help him and anyone else so praised. Alliance with the US is always the kiss of death.

RE: "WHAT IS A MAJOR TURN OFF FOR YOU ON A DATE?"

Poll: "WHAT IS A MAJOR TURN OFF FOR YOU ON A DATE?"
Farting around your date
Burping out loud in public
Picking your nose
Scratching your Private parts (Male or Female)
Chewing food with your mouth open

As I read the choices, of what you, the reader, does that turns yourself 'off'; I'm rather puzzled , as that makes no sense at all.
If the reader picks their own nose, why would that turn them off of their date...same with the other choices. One's own actions simply cannot turn one's self off...confused

RE: do we really know the real you

Or one can rely on the old adage of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. In most situations of Life, it is quite true.

RE: 2 days 2 live

Join a tourist group touring the White House and at some point just take all your clothes off and grin...OR run naked though a session of Congress...while shooting of a gun, of course screaming Yee-ha!laugh

RE: Spider woman

Seems to me that in this day and age, a male actor could qualify to play a so called gender specific role. Those days are numbered now. Men playing women has been a long tradition in movies, though usually limited to 'comedy-type' situations, it's long overdue or a total change, like playing Spider Woman or how about Wonder Woman played by a male actor..."We is all equal!"laugh

RE: Would you play with a Ouija board in a cemetary after dark?

Did that a long time ago when I lived next to a cemetery. We used to play in it and have parties, even in winter. It was even fun being chased by the police among all the tombstones and passed out drunks....rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Best way to propose!

Roll up the cheque before you pay her on the way out, put it in the ring and hand to her with a big smile...if she accepts both, perhaps you'll get lucky and get a 'special discount'...laugh
