Yes. Here in the Bay Area it's full of Irish people. Hard working and a bit rowdy but it's never boring to be with them. Two previous relationships, I was with. One for 28 years and the other, about 10 years. Hahaha, don't I know them. My children, four of them half Irish and the other parts, Filipino, Italian Spanish. What a mixture.

Anyways in the Midwest, mostly Scandinavian Irish. East Coast is generally Italian dominated, as well as Illinois.

Wrll you're in the entertainment industry which is mostly dominated by the Irish people. Hahaha, Daniel Day Lewis, Liam Neeson, and many others. They're amazing.

What turns you off

Its a veer different world in terms of cultures, customs, traditions, food, weather but generally a very beautiful place and with warm and a very welcoming people. And, English is spoken almost everywhere. Academically, English used to be the sole mode of teaching in every level up until the early 1900s when educational system incorporated the Tagalog dialect which is the official Filipino language. However, mostly books and resources are written in English.

Google Baguio Bod and my place as well as the South. Stunningly beautiful in vegetation and beaches.
