start as you mean to go on if it were the other way around would you feel like you just been bought maybe some people want to show you they are independent its awkward but at least you were a gentleman now the second date should clear things up. I guess it depends as well on who chose the date if it was a mutual choice or not, umm walking to the door nowt wrong with that.
