RE: Bankers

I bet you are from that Julius Baer thing, where the blonde octopus guy
found a pleasure in pulling your pants down your ankles. You don't seem
comfortable with your own smile, because of your burning arshole :)

You mean reptilians. Lead by the church of jedi (in scotland LOL), directed by L. Ron Hubbard. Script written by some non-humans relaxing in holiday in Area 51.

RE: Travelling solo

Peppai, I think that traveling by yourself vs with an organized group or agency is what makes the difference between the "pilgrim" seeking to experience the new and the mainstream tourists looking for some repetitive fun.
Especially if you plan to travel to shortly. It's enough that you don't have time to take the pulse of a place (which starts above a few weeks). At least one should grasp the novelty of a place without the uproar of guides, planned departures and the hum of fellow tourists.
If you are tolerant to "inmate" type accommodation, you can book some place in a hostel and this way you will be exposed to a lot of people and find more info on the area (or other areas, there are people from all corners of the world in a hostel). Usually, word of mouth in the local areas you are interested in is the best. Also, if you like camping/caravaning, the options are broad, France, England, the Scandinavian states. If you go in bigger towns, you should avoid by all means the bank holidays. I have seen someone commenting Vienna here. With all due respect, I consider it's safer in the country side of the mid Nord Pas de Calais region for example, than inside Vienna. Other cool thing could be going on bike. Germany and France are very bike friendly. If you have any exact places in mind, send me a message, if I have info about it, I will let you know.

These sons lacking responsibility. They just leave (once-bumped-into) dads in the hands of cousins and neighbors, just to follow their selfish desires LOL

RE: French Alps - a great holiday destination!

Congrats, dude. You are in the most filthy area of the continent.
With a bit of luck, you will find a savage female to join you.
(You know that savages have the sense of smell underdeveloped.)
Good luck!

RE: What´s the best country to visit in the EU?

Johhny,

Cool question!
If you love MAN, you should clearly go to Manchester, in Midlands.
Bad think is that Britain is quite expensive. Though, in Manchester, you have one of the cheapest hostels placed in a lovely area (but the problem is the availability) or you may even consider going camping around during the summer. but I don't know how remote are from the town are the camps, just give it a look. Manchester is absolutely lovely.
Otherwise, it depends what you would like to do. For camping, France is really great, good prices, beautiful nature, the only downturn is the transport, it is very expensive (the train), but you can find carsharing, some buses and train offers at times. I have read that Norway and Sweden have a policy for free wild camping, it's a citizens' right. Germany is quite interesting, Berlin is a crazy town to be seen for example. Though, western countries are usually expensive and I suspect that the best kept secrets of Europe are to be found somewhere in the Eastern part. When I stepped for the first time in Budapest for example, I was gasping for air, it was out of imagination. I have heard about other Eastern European capitals that are amazing. In Romania, I would recommend Transylvania, it's something unique all over the world. In Bulgaria, the seaside is very fun and very cheap. What can I say, I think Greece is the most exotic jewel. And I am not speaking about the islands, but about Athens. Thousands of tavernas in the sun, an relaxed siesta air all the time, the land of beauty galore. But, thinking about your geography, why not try Canary Islands?
