Been there, done that too. That's happened to me too, a couple of times. Say I need to fit in THEIR work and life...I don't think so!!
If he's a workaholic, he has no room in my life. And also one who keeps cancelling (because something keeps coming up...hmmmm.. ), he has no room in my life either.
I totally agree. It's not great to wind up drunk. I only drink about 1 time a month, only on holidays, my birthday, and a good date. But that's about it and I don't drink more than 4 drinks. But I never drive.
But yes, some people overrate it and it's all not that special. I can't understand how some people go to a bar/pub/club every day!! Sheesh!! Don't get me wrong, I like them too, but I wouldn't go everday or every week. Now that IS a waste of money, time, and life too.
1. To live my life and not worry about other folks. 2. Take my time now, with dating. Don't date for a while! 3. Try to move by this coming up summer season. 4. Take a summer trip to Florida coming up...(WHOOOOHOOOO!!! )
My first love was my boyfriend, of 3 years, in high school. I would have married him, but I went into the Army instead and met my ex-husband there. Bummer!!
I hate dating. It really sucks, even when you've been married before and still trying to find husband #2...It sucks!! It's not as easy as when I was younger. SHEESH!!!
True, but I think I'm going back with my ex-husband. I've been talking to him for the past few days, staying over at his house a lot, and we are getting along a lot better. So, that's why I'm done with dating...Thanks for the advice.

Sometimes I'm tempted to wear my ring, from my ex, sometimes, when we go shopping together. I still keep in contact with him and we're good friends now. I know that is very strange, but after getting my heart broken, in the last few days, I don't know....HMMMM...We are getting along a lot better now and I hardly ever go out drinking anymore. Who knows!?
I've never met so many trifling people til I moved here to Arizona. I hope I do get a chance to move next year. Even the ones who weren't born here, but have lived here more than 10 years start acting like them...The men here are, I know...I won't mention names...
1. Children 2. Sunsets 3. Sunrise 4. Another day to wake up and live 5. Animals 6. Beaches/lakes 7. Rain (particularly here in Arizona. We need it more!!) 8. Peace (with no one hurting my feelings anymore) 9. Happiness (finally) 10. The New Year coming up (great time to start ALLLLLL over).
Every time I have a new date, I get scared. I have every reason too. I have some bad dates, since my divorce 4 years ago, but I do have 1 great date that's been going on strong lately. And I hope it stays like that. He's wonderful.
My advice, just go somewhere neutral (like a pool hall, pub, coffee shop, etc.) and if it doesn't work out, well at least you can still have fun and look around for the "other one"...It works sometimes...
For me it's only 1 hour to Phoenix!! To go clubbing, shopping, and do fun stuff....This town isn't fun at all (it's boring where I live). So I go to Phoenix a lot...

The guy just got back from California and didn't really say he wanted to go out, the same day he got back, but I can tell in his voice that he wanted to. But I figured (after 10 hours of driving!!) that he would be exhausted and tired. He said that he dranked some much espresso that he's up and up. But I didn't take the chance, so I told him maybe later this week when he's settled in. He said, okay, but I haven't heard from him since yesterday morning...I feel like I was wrong too. But I did go out with him before, but he really isn't my type anyway. (his hair is too long for me But that's just not my preference).....But oh well!!!
I'm sorry, but I do agree with you. The last Sagittarian man I went out had a problem with commitment and had 2 other girlfriends on the side!!! What a loser!! I dumped him quick...
