Thanks everyone. I just didn't know how to quit or know how to say "no" when I only have one.
I know now, that I do have a problem. I had always wound up being too inebriated or just can't remember how the date ended and such. So, I said, "No more, Leana!!! THAT'S IT!!!". Now I know that it just isn't my date that went back or they weren't my type...it was me after all.
So, last week I tested myself and went out. I didn't order no alcoholic beverage whatsoever!! I'm so proud of that. I actually ordered at Ginger Ale and was just fine. I still had fun, remembered the entire evening, and the bartender was actually proud of me too. She knew me and I've been to her bar before. She saw a complete person in me, she said. Wow!! How amazing!!
I'm so proud of myself. Last week I went out and didn't drink at all! I'm so happy. I can go out and not have to drink to have fun. That's awesome. Now my dates will probably get better, who knows.
I don't know. You got to tell me your schedule and where to meet you at. I can only get to Phoenix on a Sunday or Monday, that's the only time I have free.
But I'm a little old-fashioned. I want the man to come to me and pick me up. I kind of prefer that on the first 2 dates. That's just me.
IF I have a date, and he DECIDES to show up, I like to go to a bar and play a game of pool with him on a date. Just somewhere public and if we don't like each other I can stay there and he can leave or something. It's just better place to be on a first date. I prefer it, honestly.
Come into a Wal-Mart about once every 10 minutes. That annoys the crap out of them. I did this 1 time and the male greeter was like, "What did you forget something, young lady?". I was yeah, and just giggled, walking away. It was hilarious.
I have noticed that a lot here in Arizona, when I first moved here 7 years ago. How come all the best men are hard to find? Those are the ones I want. They have a job, have a vehicle, have a stable lifestyle (not too, too busy, but not lazy either), and can come over and pick up a lady on a date.
Scratch that...I'm actually okay...I need no man in Arizona...I just figured that out, Hahaha!! Give me a Texas man any day and time...A real man there...Thanks, just a little angry today.
You're not alone in this boat. I still haven't found that fun, honest, committed type, sincere, and outgoing man either, in my life. I'm still looking too. So, don't worry. You're not alone...
The last 2 dates I had didn't have their own car to meet me. And now this other person what's to meet me, but they too don't have transportation. What the hell gives around here??
Right now in this moment, just a tall glass of cold water. It's hot and humid here in Arizona today. We had 4 days of rain and it got humid!! So, water is a good idea for now.
Later this evening, probably a glass of wine and a shot of Cuervo toward the end of the band playing...Wooohooo!!
I've Given Up Drinking....Yeah!!!
