I know this sounds lame, but the strangest thing I did was dance on top of a bar. Yeah, I know, that isn't too strange. But it was at a bar in Phoenix, that I never went to before, that let me do it.
Those people were so awesome. I wished it was still there. It's in new management and another name now. But I haven't been there since.
Yes, they have to. But the former DCC, who is now the director of them, Kelli Finglass, she knows what to look for and stuff. Because she's been in their shoes 20 years ago or so. She was with them from 1985-1989 (all 5 seasons). She's awesome though. A very sweet lady, but just don't get on her bad side and don't dance bad in front of her. Did you see the faces she made at the bad dancers??!!
It's great to be different. I know I don't stay with the "norm" most times... Instead of a Coke, I just might have a Corona. Instead of a long skirt, I'll wear a mini-skirt. Instead of a one-piece, I'll wear a tankini (or bikini. I have both) Instead of the usual jeans, I'll wear low-risers. Instead of fast food, I'll eat a comfortable restuarant.
Has anyone ever watched the show? It's been on CMT channel (on television) since 2006.
Yesterday, Saturday, it started and I watched it for the 3rd year. It's interesting on how they do the auditions, practices, and everything else. They are extremely picky and such.
Most of my childhood was in a medium size city and a small town.
Where I am is like the small town I had lived at from 5th grade to high school.
In the future I see myself in a larger city again (either Phoenix or maybe in California or Florida). Somewhere near the beach would be awesome for me...I love the beach city areas.
1. Gone to college (yup, never been yet. I went straight into the Army after high school).
2. Stayed single a lot longer (to know what it really feels like to live alone and enjoying it).
3. When I went Blonde, and stayed there (never dyed my hair back to brown again)
4. Probably had a kid (they would be around 11-12 years old now, but I guess it wasn't my thing then and it isn't now )
Things I Have Regretted:
1. Been drunk a few times since I was 23 (some of those times weren't fun. But no, I had never been in trouble with the law or anything like that, no. Just didn't feel right then).
2. Getting married so young (I had just turned 20 when I got married; 1996).
3. Getting divorced (been divorced since 2002, but wished I had stuck it out. But the bird has to fly sometime and enjoy herself, right?).
4. Going back to brunette hair (now I have to go through that whole bleaching process again...Yuck!! and Ouch!).
5. Moving to Prescott. (nice town, but not my kind of place to LIVE. I prefer to be back in Phoenix; the bars are better, more job opportunities, and the people are a little more fun going too).
One time a band let me play tambourines with them on a Saturday night, at a downtown Prescott bar, about 3 years ago! It was a lot of fun. Got a lot of free drinks from the band too!
Yeah, it's possible to try TOO hard to get a date or relationship.
I used to, but what I've come to believe on dating sites is to NOT get my hopes too high or to think they really will show up (a handful never did in the past). So, I don't even care anymore.
I mean I am looking for a committed relationship again (no, I'm in no hurry, by all means!), but I just take it with a grain of salt and just take it 1 date at a time.
If the first date didn't go so well, oh well, I'll just try again with someone else (if I find that one). I don't take it too hard anymore.
There's some nice parts, that's real smooth (having a really good day). But then there's the potholes and indentions (the bad days I do go through). And of course, it's very long and a little winding too.
I have met about 4 people on here, since I had joined last spring (on and off since then).
But I've met a lot more on 2 other sites I used to be a member of. So, in all (since Dec. of 2004), I've probably met over 30 people or so (from other sites I used to be on too).
Yeah, I'm sure. But it's a restuarant, not a damn fast food joint. If I just want a burger, I'll just go over to McDonald's or Burger King. I'm not wasting my good money on that.

I was having fun, that's why!!
