Time will tell about that special person you were consulting about...if the I Ching hexagrams were consistently positive I think it means it is a special connection you have with that person, but how the bond will play itself out in actuality is always hard to determine. Some of the special relationships I've had, have been with people I haven't seen for several years and then they come back into my life and the connection is as strong as ever. Those bonds are never (or rarely) broken.
Oh by the way, last summer I bought a book by a Serbian poet named Charles Simic, I have just finished the book now, it was amazing...have you heard of him?
I feel I have a lot in common with Pisces too. Someone professionally involved in astrology thought I was Pisces and was shocked when I said I was Aries! With the precession of the equinoxes most of us are technically the sign previous to our usual star sign so in systems factoring that in, like the Vedic system, we are actually Pisces! I was hoping they'd have a fish emoji but no luck, just have to use this
I find in everyday life I feel a sort of subconscious connection with some people and not for others. The judgement function isn't (at least consciously) active, as in, I'm not thinking I won't go on a date with that person because of these following ten reasons, and so on. Inherent in judgement is a critical element and that's something I try to reduce to the minimum, I don't feel I'm in any position to judge anybody - no matter who they are.
In some ways you seem more like an Aries. And I've read that in astrology they look at the axis of a person's chart, and Aries-Libra is on the same axis, though opposite ends. Perhaps Aries is the shadow-side of Libra and you have worked out of that position rather than the more obvious and extraverted Libra position? Just a thought
You were definitely right not to accept bad behaviour just because he was a certain sign. If there are ''bad'' qualities to a sign I think they are there so we can master them and transcend them - and grow as people. My best friend is a Leo, and has one of the best senses of humour I've ever met in anyone. His humour eclipses the annoying things
I know a Scorpio/Aquarius couple (friendship couple that is) and I think it is one of the best friendships I've ever seen between two people...they are unseparable With that combination in one person is pretty cool I think. Oh, by the way, Venus has moved into Aquarius at the moment, so good news for you
It's surprising it didn't work out better because Venus rules both Taurus and Libra. But Taurus being an earth sign has a tendency to go downwards, to live slow and methodically, whether Libra being air, wants to reach upwards. Two people pulling in opposite directions it seems!
Yep that is true, the ascendant apparently is our outward expression and how we're perceived by others. Libra ascendant would give Venus as the ruler of the chart so it would be a nice one to have alright. I'm sure they all have their good and bad points. Scorpio ascendant gives an intensity that I imagine can be tough to deal with, but also gives so many opportunities for growth. Mine is in Gemini - making me a bit of an air-head!
Glad you liked it! As far as I know she was well-known amongst alternative-medicine people, but not by the general public...thankfully she seems to be getting a little better known nowadays
This time last year I was in the middle of a major emotional hurt and it affected me across the board, I couldn’t sleep properly, had no appetite, had no interest in meeting friends, and had really bad anxiety. No rationalizations help in situations like that, you are forced to go through the rage and hunger and fear. It matters nothing whether the person intentionally tried to hurt you or not, I think the pain is the same. And although it is horrible to go through I do think it humanizes us in the long run. It helps us become more sensitive to others’ suffering. All a person can do while they’re going through it is to be as kind to themselves as possible, do nice things for themselves, go out into nature, be totally indulgent with themselves, do whatever they have to do to feel a little better. The situation can’t stay the same, now, a year on, I have recovered from the hurt, the heart has a new scar, but it is so much the better for it, it means we’re living! I found a song that helped me relax during that time...
Yeah I've heard that before, that being female is the default mode for everybody...I've even read how some women think that men are merely mutant females - what cheek! Apparently the air signs are the most androgynous though
By the way, there’s an interesting Vedic astrology site I found, you might know it already, it’s called barbarapijan...if you google it and include your moon sign it will give you a really detailed description of yourself. There’s lots of other interesting stuff on her site too...Enjoy!
Thanks for your post....definitely very revealing into the Libran way of being! When I think back on the particular Libran I dated she actually strikes me as nearly indistinguishable from a Gemini....the love of books and quick thinking, the ability to enter a room and mingle freely (something I can’t do at all !) and a sort of lightness of emotion - not a lack of it, just not an intensity of emotion. She was kinda like a butterfly, but I needed to be with some other kind of creature it seems!!! Just haven’t figured out which one yet
Hexagram 59 seems to be pretty good, Legge's version of the I Ching says of 59: ''Expansion intimates that there will be progress and success. The king goes to his ancestral temple. It will be advantageous to cross the great stream. It will be advantageous to be firm and correct.'' All good for you!!!
I consulted the I Ching yesterday - for the first time in about 3 years. It was about someone special I met last year but no longer have contact with. I got hexagram 52 :Keeping Still. Says I must be like a mountain - doing nothing and remaining alone! It does reflect the situation rather accurately.
Pluto is in Capricorn at the moment, and Pluto brings a lot of hidden things to the surface. Let them come to the surface I say - it will be good to release them. You be will refreshed when that process finishes. And anyway, Capricorn is probably one of the strongest signs in the whole zodiac: it is grounded, solid, and capable. Even if things seem less than good on the surface, underneath there is strength and stamina. Someone with their Moon and Venus in Capricorn can withstand any storm, and when the storm is over they emerge, just as strong, or even stronger than before. Now I'm envious and want to have my Moon and Venus in Capricorn too!!!
Astrology
I think astrology has run its course - time to start a new thread - about numerology perhaps???
