If presidency was not that important, there would not be these huge efforts and usage of billions in order to send one or the other president to the White house.

Really... have there not been a single change to notice around you up to who was on power in the White house? Not a single change what so ever? Of course there are changes!

Here and now sure... Republcians got much influence because of the results of Nov 2010 elcetions but still... the presidnet on charge have been able of getting some absolutely laws through houses even huge opposition of all those elected Republicans.
