I'm a tailor and I'm good at recycling and upcycling.

I do my best to buy as little new as possible and create stuff out of what I have lying around, or can get my hands on.

It's not just about venting, it's about communicating to your partner about how you feel.

That's not going to happen if you only vent with others.

I agree about not ridiculing, or dissing, but if we feel angry, we should be able to express, rather than suppress our emotions.

It's perhaps a matter of learning how to express our emotions constructively.

We tend to respond to warmth.

If someone is nice to us, we tend to be nice back. If someone is hostile, we tend to be hostile back.

There is some merit in accepting love and reciprocating because it's one of the ways that we function naturally. It kind of works.

So, maybe we should question why we sometimes dismiss people who show us warmth. There may be good reason, there may be some things underlying that dismissal which are irrational and may be worked on.
