Try incorporating some form of exercise into your day, and make it a regular thing.
I don't have an issue with falling asleep myself, but do put up with early morning waking and not being able to get back to sleep. I usually get up, instead of tossing and turning, and do some housework. Sometimes I can get back to sleep. Other times I just accept the 6 hours I've already had and start my day with an hour of exercise.
Also, turn off PC/phone an hour before sleep and read, if you can.
