Geez....ya get all kinds on here.....a local chap....pleasant first email, so I responded. Second email: his mobile number and the motel he's staying at, with a "look forward to seeing you soon" message.
I feel the same about NZ....beautiful country in terms of its scenery, but streets behind other developing countries, particularly medically, as we found out a long time ago.
Had we lived in the US, my daughter would have been receiving the appropriate treatment.
There are some in the medical profession here who have not heard of her condition, let alone be able to adequately treat it.
I think we should be grateful for what we have and not worry about the Jones's down the road.
Good in theory, but we all want, want, want.
Though if we stopped "wanting" more, we'd probably be a little less pissed off with the world and more content with what we do have.....but, selfish....nah....just a natural instinct to want, sometimes, what we can't have.
