Thanks to the help of a really good friend, my guitar is finally put in the shop for a complete overhaul. Everything from reattaching the nut to dressing the frets to realigning the bridge. The quote I was given was insane cheap for what I originally brought the guitar in for so I decided to get the complete job done.
The guy I brought the guitar to is well known locally for being a magician with guitars so I know the guitar is in good hands. He can build a guitar from scratch. If I ever have enough disposable money one day, I'll get him to build me the guitar of my dreams.
Something happened with my generation, lot of people went off the rails. I can't be around any of those people now that I cleaned up but it kills me to hear news like this. Its like a train wreck that you can watch happening in real time. A few of us managed to straighten up but a lot is still full throttle into it.
I was saying to my mother earlier, her generation did not die out young like my generations seems to be. People living too fast, puts you in a early grave. I have lost count how many friends I lost to overdose or drug related complications.
Women these days want a reliable, caring, situated man. How come ladies never look for the pot smoking couch potato broke slacker that still lives with his mother?
Is there a body position you can get in to get any kind of relief? I been dealing with sciatica nerve pain which is affecting my muscles and in my case, the best relief I get is with codeine and finding the right position. Codeine do have strings attached though, it should only be a last resort. I'm not sure if you know this or not but it is ok to take Advil and Tylenol at the same time (sister in law is a doctor, she told me its fine as they are different drugs that work differently that don't have any interactions with each other).
Virgil Spencer's got a 19-inch Hitachi And many demons lingering Friday night, he pulled a gun to change the channel Something that he picked up from the king His wife remembers well the man she knew Seems the dreams she had have all turned black and blue She's wasted years No time for tears 'Cause there's another chance A someday soon Shining like the Alabama moon She's looking for the promised land Out beyond the lights of Birmingham It's 3 A.M. and Virgil's passed out on the sofa A fifth of Jim Beam on the floor She's packed her bags, she slips the keys out of his pocket She's careful not to slam the door And as she drives she rubs her rosary She's never been so all alone, she's never felt so free She got miles to go Blind faith and hope 'Cause there's another chance And a someday soon Shining like the Alabama moon She's looking for the promised land Out beyond the lights of Birmingham As the rain falls down upon the interstate Any doubts she had are all but washed away One long look back At Birmingham 'Cause there's another chance And a someday soon Shining like the Alabama moon She's looking for the promised land Out beyond the lights of Birmingham Another chance And a someday soon Shining like the Alabama moon She's looking for the promised land Out beyond the lights of (yeah, yeah) Birmingham Birmingham Yeah, yeah Ooh, whoa, baby Yeah, someday soon Baby, someday soon Yeah, someday soon Hey, hey, yeah Keep on driving You gotta keep on driving, baby, yeah Another chance, another chance, someday soon
lol I joined T*nder a few days ago. After some browsing, I have come to the following conclusions. Either I am way way way more out of touch with modern life than I ever thought possible (especially during these financial times), or a lot of people are telling lies
