Well it seems to have been raining here for ever.... although dryish today.....I would have thought you'd be having the heatwave in lovely Devon...being so far south and all.
Must be nice for you having your grandson staying with you.....enjoy!

Dont know about dinner but I had a fab lunch today....

A limoncello aperitif....then topside of Scottish beef in a poivre sauce with onions, mushrooms, fresh vegetables and potatoes followed by
home made apple pie served with cream or ice cream and coffee n cream.....

oh lordy lord I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.....

Oh I'll just continue to do my laundry at my Mothers and my Daughters in the meantime til I get something.... Im working a lot of hours at the moment so its taking me time to get it sorted....anyways I just bought a new steam generated iron recently...its a Bosch iron and its fab...couldnt live without it...and thankfully we have soft water up here so no problems with limescale....isnt there a new iron on the market that apparently doesnt fur up?

Good evening all.....I just think that an increase of £140 in one day seems a bit excessive, the washing machine must have been on a limited special offer....ah well back to the drawing board!...

Was browsing on Currys website yesterday looking for a new washing machine.....decided not to be too hasty and have a think about what I needed from a washing machine now that my kids have all flown the nest.....I hummed and hawed for a while before finally deciding...so anyways went back onto the website this morning to order the machine I had my eye on and its bloomin £140 dearer today than it was yesterday...how can this be??

I often shop in Sainsburys Wow...so next time Im in there I'll pick up some of their basic ready meals...i buy their ready salted crisps as they are delicious and are only a point and a half on the WW diet.
