This is very true what he says. I had pneumonia in 1995 and it landed me in the hospital. I never got over the deep bronchial cough and I still have the cough to this day.
In the U.S. in order to enter the medical, legal and law enforcement fields you do need a certain level of formal education depending on how far you want to go in that arena. Obviously a brain surgeon or heart surgeon needs more education then a doctor who treats people who have a cold.
I succeeded in what I wanted to do without a formal education, however, I did attempt an Associates Degree. I had to stop because my daughter was at the young age where I thought it was more important to give my attention to her. She went on to venture in law enforcement and did very well in that arena.
As far as needing a formal education to be a CEO of a company I know people who never went to college and yet are at the top of their game.

Of course there should be a down thummy. We need balance in the forums. The purpose of the uppy and downy thumbs make it easy for people to agree or disagree with what someone writes anonymously which is a good way to avoid arguments. I get a lot of down thumbs. It doesn't bother me at all. It just means that somebody doesn't agree with me.......most of the time
Just go with it Gal. There are more things in the world to be concerned about than worrying about getting a thumbs down from people you don't know.
Not fantastic Packer. I have to fold them which is difficult for me and take them back to the store. If the store doesn't have anything I like then I'll either have to take a store credit or buy them online. Pain in the butt.
Furious. My daughter gave me a beautiful set of sheets for my bed. I just washed them and in my attempt to put them on the bed it seems the package was mismarked. I have a queen size bed and these sheets appear to be for a king size bed. Although, the label says the fitted sheet fits an 18" mattress. My mattress is 2" not really but it's no where near 18".
One of the jurors in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial has come forward and said "he told fellow jurors that, like some of Epstein's victims, he had been abused as a child". Now defense attorneys are asking for a new trial. It's very possible that there will be a new trial if it can be proved that this juror swayed the vote of other jurors. My guess is that all the jurors will have to be polled about their guilty verdict to see if what this particular juror said influenced them.
You would think this actor cured cancer. Unbelievable how much is going on about her.
I didn't like her because she was a backstabber. I saw her in an interview when she was talking about The Golden Girls and she made the remark that one of the women "wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer". Of course she said it after the woman died. She was a sheep in wolves clothing.
