I also believe that opposites attract for some things but I don't agree with one being nice this week and next week being difficult to live with.
If a person has the overall constitution to be a good person, who is compassionate, kind and honest then that to me is a nice person.
If a person is naturally deceitful, lies, steals, commits abusive behavior towards people and animals then they certainly aren't a nice person in my opinion.
So does Dino think that this week she should accommodate you in every way even if you are nasty but next week you will let her be nasty towards you. Is that a good relationship for you?
Have you given any thought of times you weren't nice to women? If you want love and respect it's a two-way street. You aren't the only man on here who shows disrespect to women. When one of you starts attacking a woman then the others join in like 12 year old boys on the playground.....beat her up....yea, go get her....kick her.....make her feel unworthy.
Women don't feel unworthy like they did 40 years ago when a man knocked her down. In today's world she will stand up to you and other men and that's what makes you think there aren't any nice women anymore.
I remember being asked......How many relationships have you had since your divorce?
As for what would I ask........I make a point of getting to know as much about him as possible BEFORE the first date. The things he is hiding will eventually come out.
I just watched the Adele "One Night Only" Concert at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and it was very good. She looked beautiful and her amazing voice came through with songs on her new album "30"
That's the price because of the cargo ships that can't get unloaded because truckers don't want to work. It is believed that they can get more from unemployment than driving a truck.
The normal price for pre cooked bacon ranges from $3.99 to $4.99 in high end stores. I actually paid $7.99 and I do feel guilty but it does last a long time since I'm cooking only for one people.
I put a paper towel on a paper plate, then 3 or 4 strips of bacon, cover with another paper towel and put in the microwave for 1 to 1.5 minutes. You need to use paper towels otherwise the nuker will get dirty. You would think it was cooked in a frying pan. I earned the right to buy the easy way out when it comes to cooking. However, I do use my air fryer a lot when cooking meat, chicken and potatoes.
These are great CC. My mood boost was #3 seeing the two cats hide behind the canister of wet wipes next to the toaster cause it made me laugh Others were heartwarming, others were funny but the last one of the eagle getting up the courage to take flight made me happy.
There are many way to volunteer Gal, not just the hospital. I would like to volunteer my time with the Wounded Warriors project but at this point in my life my health won't allow me to stand or walk for long periods of time. Eventually I will check with them to see if they need someone for administrative duties which would allow me to sit at a desk
I have been a generous person all my adult life. Ask any man who I was in a relationship with and he will tell you about the gifts and money I gave him all in the name of love. I'm no longer generous with men but when I come across a news article about someone who needs help or maybe a hug and a kind word I am right there to support them.
I came across a story this week about a little boy who wore a Mr. Stark costume to school for a Halloween party. He was bullied to the point that he rubbed the makeup off his face and ran out of school crying. His mother was called and she came to get him. She didn't take him home. She put makeup back on his face, fixed his costume and told him to go to the party and he did. There was no more bullying but Evan's mother thought it would be nice if people sent him a card with a kind word.
I bought him this Ironman cup and wrote a note addressing it to "Mr. Stark" and that I'm looking forward to seeing him as the new Ironman.
I was attacked by two different people last week so yes, I do take it seriously. However, recent threads that Selenite, Bodling and even Lee wrote today that aren't trying to divide people but bring a little fun into the picture the audience is bigger with responses than the ones about Biden or Covid. I look for laughter on CS, not what I see in the news everyday.
Yesterday somebody wrote a good feeling thread about Cleo who was found after disappearing from her parents tent. Everybody in the thread was joyous except one person. I was happy for Cleo and her family but it saddened me that one person had a lot of negativity about Cleo and her future.
Your threads about .....Can you guess this or that are interesting. I never have the answer but I like seeing how other people guess for the answer. Keep your chin up Gal.
When Covid required people to stay home it caused weddings to be cancelled. Venues, restaurants, and caterers had to be closed during Covid so the wedding had to be cancelled and people lost a lot of money.
If the contract with a venue etc. had a clause called a Force Majeure it provided a refund to the bride and groom to get their money back and not have to pay an balance due.
So guys, the next time you have a contract written regardless of what it is for remember to have the Force Majeure clause written into it.
