RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

Excuse me....
Are you saying that I shouldn't be talking with others..

Sorry, I will address whomever I wish,

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

Key word right there.

I can't blame many women for changing to the not looking status!!

Pardon how I put this,, but a hell of a lot of guys online are complete a**hole!!!

I have always said.. I can't stand having men as friends. you can't fricken trust 1 out of ten.

All of these pricks make it so damn hard for the good guys.

Sorry if too blunt.

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

I'm just different I guess,
If I meet the one, I am gone.
would rather devote my time to my partner and our life. not sitting here for hours daily as some of the taken..do

I think a relationship deserves 100%

But thats just me.
Everyone is different

RE: Loves at all Times

Best of luck in your hunt, but I fear it could be a tough hunt since adventist (as many other religions) do not allow online dating.confused

In fact.. don't you get excommunicated for it, if the elders learn of it?

I think I even saw a Jehovahs witness here once grin

RE: Is money an important factor in your decision to date someone?

thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up

Good honest answer.

Now I want to see just how honest the other half will be. the ones that $$$$ is everything!! where the guy has to have a big fancy house, fancy SUV and thousands in the bankrolling on the floor laughing

RE: Is money an important factor in your decision to date someone?

Good question, There are a few ways to look at it.
Having a lot of money is not a requirement for any perspective partner for me,
However... she should also not expect me to support her completely!!!
I work for a living, I expect her to do the same.

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

OMG!!! you are going to be in trouble girlfriend!!rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

If you read through all of this thread, the OP is not looking for real conversation on the topic, just looking for pats on the back.
Any post that don't agree with her 100% or points out fact or rules will be ignored completely.

Says " I just don't get it"

doh It is a dating site.. whats not to getconfused

Was stupid for someone to send her a nasty email about it!! The guy would have been wiser to just move on to the next female and play nice.

By the way...." If there were sites for just friends- I wouldn't be here"
Ummm.. there are thousands.professor

On the other hand, it is nice to have members here that started out single and found someone here, to show that the sites work.

But.. to post such a detrimental thread, and expect only positive comments and ignore all other is pretty silly also.

RE: I broke my guy's heart

Long time no see, welcome back.

Depends on how you broke his heartdunno

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

Maybe the usernames should be red for the taken and/or not looking- for stop

and usernames be green for the ones that are looking- for go.

Then the idiots that don't read profiles will know more easilyrolling on the floor laughing

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

One point.. at least polar is honest and says it in her profile..

The ones whom deserve the wrath from real singles are the married ones pretending not to be!!!!!

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

You must grow a thicker skin,, we all get nasty emails from time to time. Thats just how it is when dealing with literally thousands of people.

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

Agreed, and it only takes a few seconds to read a profile if someone is seriously interested!

RE: "A Right To Be Here...".

I really don't care one bit who is here and who isn't...
But just to play devils advocate...devil

RE: A rather fearful question but curious...

Yes.. was answering this question.
People of faith do believe so.

Was not saying you were bashing.. there are just many here on CS that do.

If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?

I can understand maybe credit for the bigger things that we really need, like a home or a car...but be realistic!!
I have seen many people buy new furniture , not because anything was wrong with what they already had.. they just wanted bigger and more fancy stuff.
and thats all it is STUFF.
and then actually haul the old/ but still good furniture to the dumpdoh

get rid of the credit and force people to live with what they have, appreciate what they have.

save a lot of natural resources!!

Most of these are things that people from our distant past have tried to warn us about. Common sense!!rolling on the floor laughing

RE: A rather fearful question but curious...

I am no Holy roller, but when others bash people of faith.. that is one of my biggest pet peeves!!

If faith and/or religion gives anyone comfort when thinking/wondering about death.. how can anyone bash them for it!!

To me this shows such a lack of any compassion, Like saying..How dare you have any comfort if I don't have.
You should be just as miserable as I amdoh doh

Death can be a very scary topic for many people,
So if they find anything that gives the peace or comfort about facing it.. we should be congratulating them not bashing them.professor

If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?

"If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?"

The homish are a great example

If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?

So why is that only in wallgreens adverts?professor

If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?

Makes me think of credit and credit cards...
The more money people have, the more they wantdoh
if it is something we can't afford right now, is it really something we can't live without? or at least till we can afford it?!

People no longer save for a rainy day.. they charge it and then wonder.. how the heck am I going to pay for itdunno

If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?

Sorry folks, got sidetracked with household chores.. how uselesslaugh

Back to topic.. like in the Church.. they say give up your riches and follow Jesus.. then why are the ones at the head of the Churches, Usually the ones with a lot of Money?doh

When bad things happen, many people are quick to join in the cause to help.. but often even that is severely abused..
Catrina is a great example.. The red cross said that they had received more money than could be used to help the Victims..thus were going to bank millions for future use.. when it was clear that everyone had given this money to help ONLY the Catrina victims.

Then many people and groups took it upon themselves to hand deliver the needed goods into the hands of the victims!!!applause

But not only monetary...
give of our time, volunteer with a local nursing home and get the kids involved.
Most have a program called adopt a grandparent. this helps both the old folks and the kids.
Many kids have never known their grandparents, do you remember back to some of the chats we had with grandpa??
Some kids never have those moments.

My son did for years and learned respect for the elders!!

If EVERYONE Put fellow man before money?

In what ways do you think the world would be different?dunno

RE: A rather fearful question but curious...

In most cases, I think life is like a torch.
starts out burning bright but at the end slowly fades away.

I think that usually.. after someone has come to accept the end..they are just too tired and ready to go, This is a fairly short life and we have to endure a hell of a lot of pain and sickness throughout it. With the condition of the human body, I really couldn't imagine living 200, 300 years or forever.

But for those that follow the Bible.. if you actually believe what it says, the dead know nothing.
so then yes.. it is the end... Untill the resurrection.

I know many will argue this point, because they don't want to believe, but look at it like this.
IF.. the dead go on living from the time of death, why would there need to be a resurrection?
But the good part of it is.. if the dead know nothing..then the being has no idea how long they have been dead before the resurrection!
just like- we have no clue how long we sleep each night till we wake up and look at the clock.

I refuse to fear death!!
I have even partially written my own eulogy already. and is in the hands of my Daughter along with my will and living will.

In short-
"Do not grieve for me for I have passed on to a place where there is no more suffering and pain, Do not cry for me, but rejoyce"
I also gave her a cd with the upbeat songs that I want played.

RE: CS Wedding Announcement ;-}
