This one is tough.
Some of us that have been here a while have seen it many times..
Trouble makers and the 2 faced dishonest people make 2 or more profiles/user names just to fight or disguise who they are...
So it becomes very hard to know who is real and who isnt...

I faced the same distrust when I first joined here and I got attacked.

Best thing for a newbie is to hang in there long enough to show who you really are.
put in the effort to make friends.. not just automatically expect everyone to be a friend.

Mindless babble seems to be the only safe subjects here the last few months.

It is so unsafe to post anything that makes people think.

and there are some that go to every thread posting, regardless of the topic or if they know nothing at all about the topic, and usually not to learn anything.. but just to battle.

and in most cases, it is the ones that claim to be tolerant that are the least tolerant.

as If we need a detailed list of what subjects we can or can not talk about.

some of the heated topics for example are:
America,
Russia,
Iraq,
cheating,
drinking,
Christians,
atheist,
Gays,
and on and on.

odd thing is, each says.. we are entitled to our opinion, is it wrong for me to have an opinion??
Then those same people attack others in other threads that don't share their opinion..

so Pretty much saying that they are entitled to opinions.. but no one else is

best policy.. Allow others to talk about whatever they want to. Don't like it.. there are plenty of other threads to go to that you may like.
If it is a topic that you know nothing about,, ask questions and learn but maybe not try to sound as if you know all about all. (just a suggestion)

But the worst in my eyes are the ones that will get stuck on one topic and decide to attack it every time it comes up. basically saying that the topic and posters do not have the right to post it, that they are idiots for thinking such a thing. that the attackers views are all that matters.

How we handle these disagreements shows how adult we are or are not.
state your view and let it go......... Adult.
No matter what.. you are right and everyone else is wrong.. Childish.

The biggest thing running members off is all of the stupid fighting.. and those with God complexes.

A heated debate is one thing.
never letting go is another.

And when wrong... be willing to say so and apologize.
but on the other hand... BE MATURE enough to accept an apology.
Takes adults to do both.

easier fix...
go to add remove programs.. tell it to uninstall internet explorer.. it will automatically go back to the previous version.


or might try first..
open a browser...(explorer) tools, windows update.. this will makw sure that all components installed........

make sure automatic updates is turned on.
also.. always make sure all programs are shut down before installing anything.. if not it will cause conflicts.
(including outlook, popup stopper, firewall, spyware programs and so on)

But I also think that it is best to stay silent about it in forums.. have problems.. report them.

Not ruin someone in public without solid proof.

and send them home as soon as the visa runs out,

Maybe make it a law....
If people from other Countries can't respect the law and time limit set forth on the visa's...and they just stay here.. no more people come in from that Country!!!

I'll go back to old school, partially,

WWII- we put the Japanese people that were in America into camps, why.. because that is who we were fighting.

I wont go that far, no camps.. just send their asses home,

that way you don't have to worry about them attacking us from within the country... common sense.

so the Countries at war in the middle east... send all of the middle easterns back home.. problem solved.

If they are not in our Countries.. they can't carry out attacks.
