I would think it should last long enough to need to stop for a pee break, maybe a soda and bag of pop corn. couple of cigs in between, I have at times even stopped long enough to go shopping and then finish when I got back home.......................

I have actually read this entire thread, Must say.. even though not strictly a religious person, this still kind of ticked me off. had not replied till now because none had a very well thought out answer.
If a person wants or needs to believe in a God and needs some kind of answers as to what happens to us after death, That is their right and how dare someone else think that they have the right to destroy someone else's beliefs.
Many lives have been helped by the Bible, and many minds relieved...if it helps some.. good for them.

4th video..... did police act correctly? the man asked over and over.. what did I do? just because he refused to get on the ground when the cops would not tell him why is not resisting arrest and not a good reason for a cop to risk killing someone.
Video #1.... the man was getting arrested because he would not sign a ticket....... first of all, you do NOT have to sign a ticket. false arrest!!! also, you make it sound like the man was charging back to his car to get a weapon. we was calmly walking back to his car because in this case the cop was acting like an idiot. I agree with him when he ask the cop " what is wrong with you"
With todays small technology....... there should be a video camera in every tazer, Then the exact actions of the one being tazed is recorded. then we have proof........ did this person really need to be tazed?

I think there are times that a tazer is a good idea, but I also think the use of them is abused and gone far beyond what they were intended for.
The electric chair was deem unusable and as cruel and unusual punishment....... and these were used after a conviction.
But cops can use a hand held version on grounds of suspicion?
I don't think dead until proven innocent should be able to fly.
On the other hand..... if someone is stupid enough to run from cops in a car, they are putting many lives at steak, in this kind of situation.....I feel that the cops should be able to do whatever it takes to stop them.
If the perp has a gun.. yes.. clearly the cops pull out guns...
However.. if the perp has a knife, club, tire iron or other less lethal weapon..........then the cops should use a taser first. Tazers are used from a safe distance from a person.
the cop don't have to be in range or a weapon to use a tazer.
Better training and common sense should be used with any kind of weapon.
Maybe another option?? put timers on tazers............ so they can only be shot one time in an hour?
This way a person can only be tazed once, Then if a person is stupid enough to get up and fight again... guns can be used in compliance with the rules.
It is such a tough call, Someone is just dumb to fight Police. On the other hand........ The police has no way of knowing if the person has mental health issues or health problems .
But back to what I said above,,,,,,,,,,,, I don't think a tazer should be used except when the perp has a weapon.
I have seen just how nasty and mean some people can get when drunk or worse yet.. drugs.
or if facing jail or prison time.
the guy I mentioned was wasted and had a record of being dangerous. I feel it was a good call in this case.
but any weapon can be misused.
But I do feel that tazers should ONLY be used in a life threatening situation. and cops that use them for the wrong reason should be charged with attempted murder or at least assault.
I mean hell, if the guy it just fighting but has no weapon........I think the cops are free to use their clubs on him........ not risk killing a person.
