RE: Towering inferno in England

The social mobility in UK is dreadful. people stick in their class.
A lot of people will keep renting for the rest of their lives. or even most.
and having a good spot in city housing is important for lots of people.
With these systems the system will rule lots of people their life.

Here in belgium a high percentage are owning where they live. it makes them save more and be more responsable for where they live.
Owning your own place is one of the life goals.

I thought in the UK property tax is substantial.

RE: Towering inferno in England

Yes Jack. the spread of salaries is too wide in London. (between low and high.)

But living in nice social housing is a temporarily thing. either you should jump up or you should fall down.

Why are London prices so high?

RE: Towering inferno in England

I assume they will never know the full figure.

My ideas on it.

If you pay rent, you deserve a decent place. This is the most important.
If a place was subletted then there is immediately someone else to blame than the 'owner'.

If so many buildings are badly isolated, paid and subsidised with and owned by government than people in government should be blamed. And i rather have someone showing responsibility than an endless search to find the guilty one. If none can be found, all are lacking.
Somebody doesn't respect or know his job.

I do have a problem with the fight between entitlement and working.
The workers 'constructors or organising the flat' have to share part of their income to give other people money to live in the flat.
Or the hard-working farmer being heavily taxed to feed the people at home what he produces.

People were dumped there.
and some people point to gov to demand from them a better place to be dumped.
I saw a lot of non English names or faces.

If you live dependent of the gov don't complain you are treated like an average between the other ones being dependant. And i understand it is really infuriating.
The word 'deadweight' comes into my mind to illustrate some taking down the system.

If i was in government i certainly wouldn't clad a building in flammable material. but i wouldn't "like" the people living there in general.
People should be a little bullied to want more in life(then life there) and to encourage them to do more in life(to live better).

I can't believe with such budget and plans that this(mass death toll) was the outcome.

maybe play him in biography movie?
somebody has to do it

RE: Do you names your private parts??

Zardoz?

RE: SO-CALLED PLAN-ET X OR PLAN-ET 9

i expected some science or non-fiction.

it went to syfy.

and then religious banter.

blues

All this religious stuff has already been dead, why is it now roaming the earth like a zombie.... ?

RE: Google fined in Europe by monopolistic practices.

We humans make it extra hard for number 2 or 3.
the biggest one usually gets it all online.

RE: Just doing it

Paris agreement and nuclear

If the reduction of the CO2 output is so important to save the current climate and our ecosystem.

why don't we simply build a lot of nuclear powerplants or thorium or whatever.
It works. and it reduces a lot in one go.

why waste all these resources in small power producers and their installation?

RE: More evidence the Wall is a very bad idea

good idea. ask Berlin how they feel about walls and curtains.

It is good you can walk across land.

It will be a waste of building resources.

I can't say there is no benefit. but it just doesn't seem important

RE: i have a so called 205 friends on facebook

and how many people live in your street? and are friends?
worry about that

Mindanao PH attacks + marshall law

Hey,
anybody has some news about it?

it doesn't really reach conventional news here

RE: what would you do differently ?

i'd probably try to kill somebody.

RE: WHEN YOUR. 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER claims she is ready for the birth control pill, do you consent?

maybe have a chat with a doctor.
you and her, separate and together.

maybe that is best to have a solution,

RE: l MET SOMEONE!

try flowers

RE: Oldest tools found predate Man

it is very hard to find stone tools from a million years ago especially from the few humans running around.
we simply don't dig so much around. and good settlement place have obviously been settled.

at least we learned there is more to discover.

RE: Which celebrity and weapon would you want to have during a zombie attack?

Lindsey Lohan + ax.

axes are better against zombies.
Lindsey seems warmer at night.

I would be scared with sheen

RE: France

Yes Roma.
because because.
community has a value.
western law is a individual law.
but humans live in groups.

I reference this. you can't start kicking the ball if you joined a basketclub.

If a few benefit people would be evaluated by benefit people instead of white wigs, justice would seem fairer.
dunno

RE: France

for one i don't see her as a facist.
i'm testing all the waters myself.
but agreeing with human rights doesn't mean i need to enforce them.
I like people, i like people moving, i like strangers, i don't get why they come to europe with thousands.
i don't get why they need money.
whoever still calls himself a Turk shouldn't want to be a European. same with other countries.
We accepted migration of foreigners. but we should have provided temporarily work contracts.
The Turks here vote 80 percent for right strict Erdogan. and 75 percent for left benefit Belgium. (thumb unsupported numbers)

all the data proves the benefits of a social system and man-woman-equality. sorry you got the memo but didn't care to listen.

To switch sides. i like sharia in a part. western current justice system has faults. i kinda prefer to be judged by equals than by elites.
I'll rephrase. i don't know a single belgian happy with belgian courtsystem. the muslims have an alternative, off course some people will see the benefit of the alternative.
A rebuilt Western court system could solve a lot of this.

RE: The Trouble With the European Union

idiot, the spending of the USA in military spending is not guided by the other countries, but by the internal companies.
And a lot of the bill goes to salaries. and American military is well paid. it is a form of migration.
We don't have that. We don't need to import people to fight for us in Afghanistan or else.
Nato didn't jump in Vietnam.

You don't buy planes because of Belgium, you buy planes because of Boeing or whatever.
My leader doesn't drive in a big beast in my country. Your president does/did.

It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If 100 million of lobbying can get you a contract with 101 million profit you do it.
If the usa wasn't so gullible to spend, the bill would not be so high.

RE: will there be still money in the year 3500?

be sure to save up on bottle caps

RE: The Trouble With the European Union

yes your 'commander' of 'the biggest army' doesn't have a clue.

he is like the fifth rider of the apocalypse. ignorance

RE: Religion And Archeology

i will answer this. but you are acting a bit of a troll.

you are adding a lot of references to 'science' or hints or whatever.
true, you didn't add any sources, just some events or topics to feel bigger yourself.
Quoting einstein is a good example. you try to teach but it just sums up how you feel.

so you heard some holographic ideas and now you think you can refute other things.
it simply doesn't work like that.

RE: The Trouble With the European Union

look now we are getting into drama.

a permanent member retreating is a bit weird. if you have power of 28 countries.

just read

it saves you a lot of belly feelings

RE: The Trouble With the European Union

you are not an expert on the matter. :-)

the european union started economically.
it started as the benelux. belgium netherlands luxembourg. who made trade deals to have free travel of goods and persons.
Later France and Germany followed.
and some additions later.

Some rules became common about labour force.
There were huge budgets, mostly agriculture to pump up production.

It became more to have more marketplace to sell.
Germany has easy access to all supermarkets in all EU countries.

The coin just was a money saver for the governments. like bitcoin wants to do.
Not all had to participate. but a fixed exchange rate was in place before the coin was there. The ECU.
It also helps trade a lot, and stopped gambling on foreign cash.

The army, we had NATO for that.
International human rights. United Nations.
Even border protection is done by the countries. nowadays with FRONTEX money support.

EU is a economical pact. A lot of the budget comes from import tax.

RE: I am making love now

sister?

RE: If money was problem which luxury vehicle would you choose?

maybe a twike.
or a very build-out leaf.

i would go green. not faster or flashier.
so a short distance extra car.
moping

RE: Religion And Archeology

no scientist was teaching that to me.
there are some hypothesis.
They are testing that and seeing if it fits.
This quantum field is young and 'abstract'

maybe there will be a consensus all life is fake.
but at the moment the teaching consensus is dirt and rock and bone.
