Hi Matt.... normal what is normal? I know where you live, nobody normal in Berkhamsted, Tring, or Hemel Hemsted, so don't imagine you'll find many here either.

I was born in Washington DC... father in the Navy Mom in a gov't job.. so guess I am American even though I now live in the UK and have a British passport...
I will never give up my US citizenship and when I say I am traveling to the US, I say I am going home...
Oh queen of cheesecake, you were greatlly missed. Sounds so very positive about your Mr McMaybe... These things can work out regardless of the distance apart, how do you think I ended up in the UK??

I can relate to most of what has been posted here. Chronlogically, I am not young, but I know what it is to feel a lot older.
Medication I was on, to prevent a worse illness from recurring, caused me to feel as if I were at least 20 yrs older. I have since quit the meds. A few additional years were not worth the loss of my quality of life.
I now feel so much better, younger, happier and as if I have turned back the clock at least 20 years from my current age.
The 30 somethings that send me flowers, emails and ask to meet keep reminding me that age is but a number.
Guess I am saying you are as young or as old as you feel, positive attitude and actions go a long way to how you are perceived.
