I've had similar experiences with the same people checking my profile, but not contacting me. I sometimes contact them, 50-50 on whether they reply.

Guess some people are just shy??

What are you afraid of? You can't determine whether she is able to commit until you discuss it.

Some of us use our career as something to block and protect us, maybe she is doing that.

Perhaps you need to be the strong one in this situation. Only you really know the situation and can resolve it.
