RE: Donad Trump's "AMERICA FIRST" Foreign Policy Speech

Is this the end of the West as we know it? the article above, from the Washington Post - these journalists have really lost it, as she goes whining about the "liberal world" being threatened by Trump and the likes, I would say: we can live very nicely without this "liberal world" whose only aim is to make rich richer, impose some global super state and destroy us all.

RE: Should First World Nations give away their comfort of living to Third Worlds

Ah Red is having one of his moments bringing many good points. thumbs up

A times I get annoyed with his constant bashing of the "elders" but he is right - we will survive in a relative comfort and it is the young ones that wil not have any life - how many children will our children have when the taxes go skyhigh because the likes of him and his 17 children have to be supported?

To answer the OP's question: definitely NOT! I think, Red said he would agree with writing off the debts of the 3rd world countries, I would too but not every 5, 10 years! Just think about the billions and billions that were given by the West to ME and African countries in aid - did that money change anything? No, it only made the corrupt elite there richer. Giving money or anything for that matter on a platter without asking for concrete results is throwing the money into a bottomless pit. This constant giving only creates the expectation that someone else (the West) is obliged to help. Many examples of how migrants demand this or that, they do that because they know that the West will give in.

The 47 Syrian asylum seeker in Denmark from the link has 17 children with 3 wives. There is a similar case of a Somali man in Norway with 22 children and I bet there are many more among the migrants (of course they expect the state to support them) and among the people who stayed in their countries - these people are lazy and irresponsible bringing so many children into the world. High time that part of the world took the responsibility for themselves.

Be arrogant with arrogant people, this is the only language they respect, as they confound kindness with weakness. (Paulo Coelho)

RE: Brexit - How will you vote in the referendum?

Had a look at the vote breakdown - it is interesting that women here are much more in favour of staying in the EU. More cowardly than men? Not willing to take risks?

I will not vote as not UK citizen, I do wish the out vote wins as that would accelerate the fall of the EU grin

RE: Would you date a Russian girl?

Thought it was the Scandinavians, both men and women cheers

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

Seems like it is fine with her/him that Jews are theatened again.

Amazing article on how harsh but liberal Danish immigrant policy may seem like a very good thing in light of the rise of far-right parties in Germany, Sweden and elsewhere.

"In Denmark, by contrast, where immigration skeptics were never written out of the political conversation, alternative views have always been part of the political system. Though the Danish People’s Party is often mischaracterized as “far right,” it is not nearly as extreme as the Sweden Democrats. Anti-migration sentiments are thus channeled in a healthy way — the parliamentary process — and not onto the streets."

"Yes, Denmark may be “harsh” and “liberal,” but sometimes you have to emphasize the former to protect the latter."

To take this to "fishing out drowning migrants and taking them to Europe" (un)policy: something that seemed harsh at the beginning of the influx may seem too soft of an approach now. Politicians are elected and paid more than generously to take harsh decisions and take them in time, very soon it seems nothing else will be able to stop the influx but the use of weapons.

The regressive liberals should finally start using their heads and decide what they want: turning Europe into a thirld world country, or preserving democracy and the social system that has worked very well so far, free speech, gender equality.

RE: Leave Europe

Damn, just remembered, if you guys leave, Nigel will not be giving his great speeches in the EU parliament anymore crying

RE: Leave Europe

And run as fast as you can from this nuthouse:

approved by the EU court or something on human rights / Belgium pays 78.000 to a jihadist that was planning an attack on Belgian soliders on a base in Belgium, he was caught and put into jail, but then extradited to the US and "his human rights were violated"??????

It would be funny if it wasn't tragic, ridiculous, monstrous....

RE: Leave Europe

Yes, if you place all immigrants into one category, a closer look reveals something else, read the Pew Institute's reports, Tom. wave

RE: Donad Trump's "AMERICA FIRST" Foreign Policy Speech

Haha this is a good one: a poll Trump leads Hillary among HIspanic voters

A funny article about a matchmaking site to connect those Americans who said they would leave the US and the Canadians awaiting them.

Fun to read but hits the nail on the head.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Leave Europe

I am wondering though, how Brussels will react if people vote to leave, will it be like with the Ireland referendum (ok it wasn't about leaving, but still) - they had to repeat it till it was to the liking of EU.

RE: Leave Europe

I hope you guys leave and thus open the door to the EU collapse - enough of that monster.

I know you blame the East for costs, but believe me, many of us in the East would be perfectly happy if we were sovreign and without EU's "help" again.

The Soviet states of EU is a dictatorship, not democratic at all, extremely cost-ineffective, with huuuuge bureaucratic apparatus wasting time and money.

What a surprise roll eyes

Fishing migrants out of the sea and taking them to Italy has never been meant to stop smugglers, on the onctrary it assists them.

More and more keep on venturing across on little rubber boats as they know they only need to get a bit from the African coast and the naive infidels will do the rest.

RE: Eurovision Song Contest 2016

Who says I do? I used to watch it when I was a kid, I don;t like it as the music sucks and it is totally political.

BTW: Am I not allowed to say I THINK it is silly?????

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

Oooooh what a surprise doh

"According to German federal crime office, a number of Islamic terrorists have entered Germany by hiding amongst recent flows of migrants from the Middle East, and since last year 369 people with suspected ties to the Islamic State have come into the country in this way.

German security authorities have indications that members and supporters of terrorist organizations are infiltrating groups of migrants in a focused and organized way, in order to launch attacks in Germany,” said a police spokesman, adding that there was no specific evidence of a planned attack at this time.

Of the hundreds of suspected Islamic jihadists entering Germany, 40 cases are currently under judicial investigation at the federal and state level, said a spokesman of the Bundeskriminalamt in Berlin.

The data indicate an overall increase in infiltration by prospective terrorists, with only 213 reports recorded up to early January, among which 18 cases were under federal investigation.

Some of the information regarding terrorist infiltration has come from other migrants who encountered the suspects in refugee camps.

The sharp increase in numbers has led the German authorities to sound a new terror alert, not only in Germany, but throughout Europe."

And god knows how many of those not detected yet roll eyes

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

Excellent article! Some here should read it, but I know they won't or they will still keep on claiming the opposite like it is them who know the "culture" not the those who were raised in it and dare speak about it truthfully. Just a couple of exceprts from the article:

Among the war refugees are not only victims of violence but also many perpetrators, even many Islamists. In addition, these mainly young men between 14 and 20 years old also with them they bring the culture of violence against women, the culture from the Middle East to Germany. The New Year's Eve in Cologne is just a proof of this, and not an isolated case, as the foolish politicians want to downplay the significance of the matter.

Regardless of the war, the image of women in the Arab-Oriental culture is patriarchal. This image of women cannot be tolerated under the cloak of respect for other cultures in Europe.

The violence by these Arab men was not targeted only at women but also at European men, as a means to violate the honor.

If Germany gets over a million people from the world of Islam and does not meet their expectations, you have to expect to be affected. From advertising, these young men think they know that every European has a luxury apartment, a car and a "pretty blonde"; they think that they are getting this as well and will be involved in the prosperity.

But when these young men instead end up in an emergency accommodation in schools and sports centers, then they feel cheated, even discriminated. So they develop feelings of revenge towards the European man. The disappointed and angry Arab men therefore retaliated in Cologne and Hamburg to the German men by attacking their women.

I say: This was a culturally anchored revenge. Those who don't criticize this not only show false tolerance, but also ignorance about other cultures.

Germany is thanks to the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel the main destination of the refugees. The childish quarrel between all German parties on ceilings and a limitation of the number shows that German politicians do not understand the scale of the problems.

While German politicians and German-gooders "in a German pathos of the Absolute" (Adorno) talk about tolerance and the plight of refugees, many Islamists laugh contemptuously and call these debates "Byzantine chatter".

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

Ah Kaet you have forgotten that everyone with a German passoprt automatically becomes German laugh

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

It is so frustrating when all the politicians do is tell us that "we must learn to live" with whatever barbarism these immigrants bring into our countries. Why do we have politicians? If they say nothing can be done, we don't need them!
The same with the police: serve and protect but whom? Not the locals for sure:

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

I was surprised to see that Spanish somehow strongly approved than Canadians which part of them who approved were not approving it sincerely, "somewhat approved"

Thanks Capri for the good article. The politicians should have read it to wake up them from their dreams. In the other hand the people who protested their refugee-policy are easily being labeled right-wings, now they have to bear the facts that their voters are running away day by day. It would interesting to see surprises in our general elections next year.

I had a chance to have a short conversation with a Slovenian tennis player yesterday. Quite talkative and is kind person to talk with.[/quote]

RE: Arcitic to Deuchland

And how did you get to Russia? Why didn't you stay in your own country?

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

The EU officials, headed by insane Merkel and co., are dragging Europe deeper and deeper into the ME/Africa-like situation:

Merkel agrees that the EU should provide financial help to African countries to stem the migration, she seems to think that 1 billion euros will be enough and that there should be no problems finding that money within the EU.

1. how come "only" 1 bil for African countries when Turkey alone gets 6?

2. again the money will be thrown into the bottomless pit - everyone seems to be forgetting that billion and billions have been given to African countries annually, with no result in terms of poverty decrease, normal state institutions' functioning...

3. so, 1 bil is easy to find and Europeans have been struggling with austerity measures for years now?

Madhouse frustrated

p.s. And Italian PM wants to unload the migrants to the others while Italy has done nothing to stop the immigrants from entering Italy!

Obviously Austria and Hungary need to step up, maybe a new Austro-Hungarian empire is in order rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

Krema: yesterday I read an article about Bulgarian PM, who is telling the East Europeans to stop refusing the quota set by the EU Commission? WTH???? Is that true? I cannot find the article now, it was on yahoo.com.

RE: Germany suffers as a result of Merkel's decision Part 2

Kaet have you read this article?

Germans now opposed to immigration more than before - which was to be exected.

Seems that people are waking up, however, as long as you allow Merkel to run the country and the EU the destruction is continuing.
Have you read that he EU commission is planning on introducing fines per immigrant to those countries that refuse to accept them? The fine is about 280.000 euros per immigrant! Of course Italy is in favour - they keep on doing nothing to protect their borders and now want to ship off the new-comers to other countries.

Merkel is also accusing Austria for building fences along the border with Italy, honestly, Austrians are the only wise and down to earth Western Europeans! She is on the one hand talking about the need to protect the external borders, but does not do anything about it. On the other hand she has not dropped the "we need to help" rethorics.

When on earth are your elections in Germany? I guess an attack of the Paris/Brussels style should happen in Germany too, for her to start doing something. Even she does turn another leaft, I hope the Germans are not crazy enough to vote for her party again - she is a traitor.

RE: Donad Trump's "AMERICA FIRST" Foreign Policy Speech

Hi Lin,

Amazing isn't it? Well, let us hope things don't change till the real election thumbs up

My god your election is a real circus, why on earth does it take so long?

RE: Donad Trump's "AMERICA FIRST" Foreign Policy Speech

Not more than the others, and they still do, you would not believe what sort of programmes the US has to help those less fortunate grin

What Slovenias will be happy about is that his political incorrectness may brush off our politicians.

Agreed wine

RE: what is Greece known for..?

I don;t agree with most of the things said by Varoufakis, but he is smoking hot.

The PM wasted the opportunity to do something good for his country and the whole Europe, just makes me sick when I see him all cuddly with Merkel, yuck roll eyes
