At the end of the day, even though centuries have passed, people are still fighting, often within themselves to get back to their traditional roles. It causes friction in today's world because the history of how society lives in peace, and true gender roles, has been eradicated from the history books. All people have to go on is instinct, and of course man-made laws don't support that.
Figting perpetuated propaganda is an almost impossible chore.
I've been watching him the last couple of days. Not much gets past me, especially when he can't help himself when it comes to trying to put me down.....as if that were possible.....
He just can't stop himself from taking over a thread Morgan. In a minute, if we let it, this thread will be all about him again and he will be loving it.
A bit backward and chauvanistic of you, considering I brought my kids up on my own for the last 18 years and worked building sites as a tiler, among other jobs, (I usually worked 2 or 3 jobs at at time), to raise them. I never left them with anyone else to bring up. I now have them all through university and qualified and living healthy, happy, productve, independant lives with loving partners.
My ex was a useless tit who never supported us, only catered to his own needs when he wasn't abusing the girls in the household.
You picked on the wrong woman as an example dunderhead!
I think there are many countries where ignorance is considered bliss, especially for their governments. When other things are advertised as being important for survival, then the value of a true education and how to use it is lost.
Some countries might as well practice book burning, because the population are hobbled to a crippling degree by lack of access to the information on what really matters, and more importantly , how to use it.
There are many kinds of education and many of them don't cost money. A typical one would be common sense, coupled with compassion, which is gained from experience......all knowledge.
If people had common sense and compassion then they wouldn't let other people go hungry, (just to have a second car or yacht, or whatever luxury they have convinced themselves they need). Money would be more evenly distrubed because it was the right thing to do, and fair to everyone.
