Talking of unknowns,you may want to check out Paul Rose on you tube. saw him live and he was playing

Hendrix,Zappa etc.sounded just like the original EXCEPT.......HE WASN,T USING ANY FOOT PEDALS! the first three rows of the audience were all guitarists come to gaze in wonder

Open Door Policy

Just wondering how many people out there are in the lucky position of being able to go out and leave their door open....
It's a habit I got into living in France.Admittedly in deepest rural France.After all if a neighbour passes by with a bottle of home made "eau de vie" and you are not there you want them to be able to gain access to leave the bottle! Now I am living 800metres up a mountain in Southern Spain and the same applies.Most of my friends take pleasure in the fact that this is still possible.Also,with the climate here we all live outside for most of the year anyway so there are cookers,fridges,furniture etc. left out whilst the owners happily go away for days,sometimes weeks,on end.Are we being naive,or just content to live in a beautiful region.....in all respects.

Hi everyone..Seems like an opportune moment to introduce myself and invite the numerous CS people who live in Southern Spain to come and say hello

Next weekend there will be a two day festival at Funny Beach near Marbella 8/9th Sept.

It's a charity gig to raise money for kids schools in Africa,so entry is €5.

Many excellent musicians are coming..rock/reggae/roots/ and in view of the main aim a whole bunch of african percussionists.

I have been invited to contribute to the vibrations with my gongs/tibetan bowls etc.

The gig is on the beach,so playing at sunset is my aim.This is always very special.
