It consists only of a descending A minor scale,repeated over and over by violins and cellos.With a funeral bell.Brings tears to the eyes.
Just been on You Tube and read something really interesting.Because of the nature of the piece you can open two separate windows,start one playing and then a few seconds later start the other one.The two meld together into a fusion even more compelling and powerful than the original.Can´t think of any other piece of music that you could do that with.
