Ok, let me bring it to your attention...name shaming is a big no no.
You had no reason to hijack my thread to deflect and also, your reputation speaks for itself so you wasted your time.
I'm going to address the elephant in the room. It is no secret that the site, bligs/forums have turned in to an ugly battle field. Rumors, behind the scenes BS, subliminal messages that were directing it to who ever, and always wanting to take jabs at one another. I, and many others agree, instigators, haters, combative, disrespectful haters with toxic behavior is exactly why don't even wan't to log in and/or post anymore. Only we can change it together. Lets make it fun again!
In case it's gone unnoticed, some of us trying to lighten things up a bit. We need to regain the fun place we once enjoyed and leave the drama out of here. In order to accomplish this, we all need to work together to make this work. We must be the solution.. and not part of the problem.
With that said, PK, you are welcome on all my threads, but leave your attitude off the keyboard. If you can't/won't be respectful, non-combative instigating toxic attitude of my threads then stay off please. I will not allow it on my threads for you to attack the members who participate on my thread. So, I am kindly asking you to refrain from posting. Thank you.
So true. I got married in 1987. Someone gave us a hand held blender. It would be considered vintage if you saw it, anyway, it still works just as new. I bought a fairly expensive blender a couple of weeks ago and it has smoke by the engine and wasn't blending properly.
And here, the students download their lessons and don't have to buy/rent because they take online classes. No face to face interaction with other students or the teacher either.
I believe in old-school schooling. Reading hard back books for our lessons, the teacher would call on random students to randomly get a quit quiz just to be sure we were paying attention to him.
With that said, unfortunately, I feel that technology is the new norm. Students have to use and learn from their devices that does spell check and cut and paste. Students can't fall behind with today's way of doing things and they don't know anything else.
So accepting the new norm, for me, is sometimes a challenge for me because those were the good old days in my mind.
Jealousy
Things could get quite messy in there
