Yup! Affairs and drama! Those kinds of women should be careful who the step on their way up the career ladder because they will have to deal with those on her way down the corporate ladder and karma sucks!
Things are so much different these days and the last generation or so.
There are so many meanings to being a gentleman. Chivalry, opening doors, buying flowers, taking care of your partner when they are sick, leaving love notes, respecting your partner and supporting him/her to reach their goals, loyalty and so much more. I think it should work both ways. Treat each other the same way you would want to be treated.
I'm happy to hear your daughter is better now, thank goodness.
My aunt and uncle were appalled that he could be so ruthless. It was disgusting actually.
I'm so sorry about your dad. It's so hard to loose people but sometimes they suffer too much or too long and even though we wish they wouldn't pass, we can't be selfish. Thanks for your condolences and the same to you. And for the well wishes for my dad.
I'm happy to see you still here on cs, it's been nice to See a familiar face.
Yup, that was way way back. It sounds like you are enjoying life. That's so cool that you had the courage to start a new beginning. I'm happy for you.
Things with me are pretty good, I would never be brave enough to do what you did. I had a death in the family a while back, my cousin. She died from an undiagnosed cancer. She had 3 kids and her husband bailed out on her and divorced her while she was sick. UNBELIEVABLE! My dad has been suffering from lung cancer and a aneurism in his stomach but he is a tough cookie. I have to stay strong and hope for the best. Other than that, I'm doing good, thank goodness.
I think you may be right about about the political threads. The site has made some changes. I liked it better when it was the original way. I often think about a lot of the members we would interact with. Those sure were the good ole days. Maybe we can switch things up a bit instead of the negative vibes I see going on. I remember way back when you were changing jobs/careers, I think. If so, did it work out for you?
Name one
Great attitude. My condolences.
