As I volunteered to work in the morning, so those who wanted to have the day off to spend with family could have it off AND I've got family events tomorrow evening and Tuesday....

I just wanted to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays (or whatever you celebrate) since I probably won't be on the next couple of days. I hope you all get whatever you are wishing for.

For now, I'm off to bed so I can be on time for work tomorrow.

If you read all the posts....She said she can't hear any music when she gets the pop up window to add the music.

Not just when she gets a card....When trying to create one, you get the pop up box with "Play" & "Stop". It doesn't let her play it at all.

BN, they can tell her what may need to be done. Yes, it COULD be an user error or it COULD be the machine needing a program added on as mine did (Active X Control), BUT I'm thinking its a glitch in her system. She's running the same platform as I am and not getting the prompt to install the control which is required for Vista to play the music.

Weird. I'm running the same platform. There's got to be something blocking the Active X Control on your system.

Maybe you previously had this add on and its disabled on your system. Try following this from Microsoft Help to see if any are disabled.

Click to open Internet Explorer.

Click the Tools button, click Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or Disable Add-ons.

In the Show box, select one of the following options:

To display a complete list of the add-ons that reside on your computer, click Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer.

To display only those add-ons that were needed for the current webpage or a recently viewed webpage, click Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer.

To display add-ons that were pre-approved by Microsoft, your computer manufacturer, or a service provider, click Add-ons that run without requiring permission.

To display only 32-bit ActiveX controls, click Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit).

Well, this was in July of this year. Missouri Valley is actually in Iowa and its about 40 minutes from Omaha.

We had a large group of volunteers. 9 houses that needed to be redone. We were there for just over 8 hours. The guys did the sodding, which wasn't hard since we just had dirt/mud mainly to work on, and they got the trees in. Us girls, planted all the flowers & bushes and watered everything when we were done before meeting the guys at the next house.

Log completely out of CS, maybe even clear cache/cookies (Under Tools in the right hand corner of your screen. "Delete Browsing history", "Delete all", and check the box that says to delete files by add ons).

Then try reloading it. Once you turn your popup blocker off, you should get a yellow bar at the top of your screen requesting to install the Active X control.

Yes, a group of us from my work, volunteered to restore people's lands after the Missouri Valley flood.

We called all of the local area businesses to donate anything they could, loaded up two full size trailers full of plants, sod, bushes, and trees.

Since the housing was already being taken care of, we went around to each house that had their land completely destroyed and sodded and planted flowers, trees, and bushes for the landowners.

It was in July and in the hundreds, but so many people just were in tears when they saw their yards when we were done. Made the fact that we were filthy, stinky, and sweaty well worth the hours we spent up there.

Try closing completely out of the window with the songs and then try restarting it with your popups being unblocked
