I have corrected the problem. I would love to talk more sometime. I do have my great nephews coming over early in the morning for a day of adventure so I must turn in now. Have a lovely evening.
I actually went to see why they would have you blocked. I realized the age setting might have had something to do with that. Never thought of that being an issue.
Hello Ali110, I am not sure how or why you would be blocked. I welcome all conversations. That is as long as they are respectful. Some men can get a bit crude, as I am sure many women do as well.
Have you ever noticed certian people visiting your profile repeatedly, yet never attempting to make contact? I am just curious as to why they would do this? Is there something wrong or funny about said profiles? Or do they find the people in the profiles so vile they aren't worth the effort of friendship?
May she find peace. She was a lady with a tough job who tried. Love her or hate her she was a human being that deserves a measure of respect in her passing.
Yes, it is against the law to text and drive in Ohio but they don't enforce it. If you are in an auto accident and your phone is visible then they are allowed to check your phone records to see if you were texting at the time. As far as I know no one has been prosecuted yet for that.
My son and I sat at a major intersection for 2 hours last summer. He counted all cars, I counted the ones where the driver was visibly using the cell phone. Our results were that nearly 80% of drivers that passed us were either texting or talking on their phones.
Now from someone who was Tboned while the other driver was texting, I personally can't wait until they crack down on this.
It would be nice if they could make taking your maiden name back easier. If I had made it to court then it would have been easy. I was half a country away though. It may be just a name but I would much rather carry my maiden name. It is such a nice name.
It is quite costly over here. Everything has to be done through the courts. With our economy in the toilet. I am lucky to have 2 cents to rub together. I refuse to take handouts from a corrupt government. So I get by. Trust me honey, if things were better I would be traveling and visiting places like Ireland. (my dream vacation). Seeing how I can't afford to change my name, I suppose vacationing is way out of the question.
I think there are a lot of reasons someone doesn't want to be an organ donor. Religious, paranoia perhaps financial just to name a few. A lot of people believe their families are responsible for the cost of harvesting their organs so they don't want to commit their family. I personally am a donor. Of course I would like to get through life well lived and my organs may not be the most viable. lol But seriously when I am gone, if I can save someone else, I wouldn't care whether they were listed as a donor or not.
Where as I am sure you have a fabulous accent, it is my experience that long distance relationships don't work out for me. So sorry sweetie... I wouldn't date you.
If I were living there, perhaps I would give it a go though.
There are a lot of different reasons why a person may not have been on site for a month or longer. Work, vacation, illness, internet problems or computer problems... just to name a few. To delete them just because they haven't signed on in over a month is not fair. Perhaps wait a year of inactivity maybe but a month is to short a time.
I am truly shocked at all of you. This is a human being. No matter what. They say the kids these days are desensitized. I would say... judging by ALL of your comments that the world is desensitized. That humanity has lost. When there is no more humanity to be found, we are all doomed. I don't care what your religious beliefs are or aren't, when humanity is gone... we are not far behind it.
Ccincy armed guards are not always required to be trained at all in guns. I know this for a fact. My niece and her felon husband were armed guards for a security company. Neither had even so much as a minutes gun training, yet both carried company provided weapons. What makes this worse is the fact that he is a felon and not suppose to be able to get his hands on guns. I would NEVER trust my children (well great nieces and nephews, my boys are grown) in the care of armed guards.
Where I live in Ohio we have a problem with corrupt and hot headed police. I would trust a teacher to be armed more than a police or security. I feel it is a fine idea to train and arm teachers. The Dems want to crucify the Reps and NRA for the idea but remember who was the first to bring it up. President Bill Clinton was the first to mention and want to arm the nations teachers.
Well, I took a size 13 boot to the face when I was in my mid 20's... sad to say... the teeth didn't all make it. What a mess. I look so much better now that I had the broken, painful teeth removed. I didn't smile for years until I could afford to get them taken care of.
Kind of like the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City calling the election for Obuma , 2 weeks before election day.... right down to scrolling vote counts and precincts reporting.
Ohio requires ID to vote. It also "supposedly" elected Obuma. Of course Cleveland, OH was reported to have 100% votes for Obuma. Now I have family and friends in Cleveland and surrounding areas, none of which voted for him. So there is enough proof for me.
In other areas of the state... poll workers were registering voters ON election day and letting them vote a regular ballot... not the provisional that they should have had.
Many Ohio voters had to cast their ballots while looking at photos of Obuma hanging on the walls at the polling places... myself included... which is not legal either.
My son was registered to vote on his college campus... Obuma campaign workers kept knocking on our door and ringing our phone to get my son to work his campaign.....because he registered to vote for Obuma.... the problem was... my son had no choice on the registration but to sign as a Dem. He ultimately voted Republican.
Finally... I said "Obuma" through out this.... because that is how I feel... he is an O Bum... a... in my eyes.
I personally never get involved in the Black Friday shopping. I will however, do a little Small Business shopping on Saturday should the need be there. I believe in supporting the local small businesses....someone has to. As for the price matching... I guess things are lax in VA. Here in Ohio... Walmart does the price matching all year long. Only on exact items and here in Ohio... you HAVE to show the competitors ad with the item clearly listed. I never go into debt for the holidays. If I can't afford a fancy gift then no one gets it. I prefer to make gifts by hand. The only things I will spend money on are toys for the little ones and NEVER have or will purchase video games for them.
This is far to intrusive. Sure it will let you know where your kids are but it will also let the predators out there know. You tell me the drug dealers, who have plenty of cash to get learn to track kids and locate them for easy access to sell their poison, won't use this technology. I thought this was a free country still. I must be mistaken. Here in my part of Ohio we fought over school uniforms and won. I don't see the chips coming here. If they did, I would help people set up home schooling and computer classes.
Thankfully my boys are grown and long out of school. If I had grands... this would never fly with me or them.
Just a sign of what a great jobs unions are doing for the rank and file. Pat yourselves on the back union big wigs... you hurt more Americans. You know those stubborn pricks aren't losing their jobs or any income.
I married a German.... after my divorce I had a long term with another German... both men beat me. Both were extremely cruel. The men that treated me the best were either Italian or what we call a Heinz 57. Just far to many different nationalities in them to claim one. I think a person can't be judged by their nationality, age, skin color, religion or.... and I know this is biggie on here..... their political views. None of those things are going to determine how they treat a loved one. It is in each of our hearts how we treat one another. JMO
I live in the US and have absolutely no desire to see any of the major cities. Pittsburgh, PA and Cleveland, Ohio are far to big for me. I think small town America is a much more appealing vacation. My suggestion to visitors from other countries... try a tour of antebellum plantations in the south. Or just plain small town America. This is the best way to get the feel of what real American life is like.
Have you ever noticed?
