He should have worn a hard hat,or at least a baseball cap.
I was once at the bottom of ascaffold, and one of the masons dropped a brick, and it hit me straight on the top of my head, was wearing a hard hat luckily, but if i wasn't,I could have been hurt pretty badly.
It depends,on average about 100,depends on how hot it is and how many times I HAVE TO ADD WATER to the mortar mix,and depends on whether i'M ALSO smoothing the joints or if there;s a labourer doing the joints and I'm just laying bricks. The secret is taking the excess mortar from one brick you lay,and applying it ti the joint for your next brick, and a good mason, when buttering his joint, should be able to butter his brick in obe shor with the trowel.
