I totally agree but still wonder if I was not a FEMALE attorney if the bashing would be so blatant and on a daily basis as I have had to endure?

Sorry to rant in your thread Corinne, and it takes alot to piss me off, but I had enough of the attorney jokes especially when my screen name is directly used!
Enough is enough and finally had to take a stand about me, what kind of attorney I am, and my profession!

Thank you.......I have had enough of this lawyer bashing because someone starts a thread asking a legal question. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be a legal question. Some one could ask "How is the weather where you live?" and some azzhole will come in and say "You should know, you're the attorney"...usually I ask "what does that have to do with the topic at hand?", but enough is enough! Pick on the huge burly male truck drivers for awhile and see how far your bashing gets you............

I agree Take, and I am so damn tired of being assaulted for the profession I chose. I didn't comment to the original post because all laws are different in every county, state, and country, yet some YoYo thinks he can speak for me, using my name directly because of my profession, because of course ALL attorneys are scum. It gets damn old!

I am one of "those" who does not wish to marry again. Life partnership, most certainly, but I am past child bearing age, self supportive, receive a decent income, and am totally happy with my life. I am not seeking a man to complete me, just include me in his ideals and dreams. Huge difference so I have no need for marriage.
