Very true.I can attest to that.I got a bunch of British friends on the islands and sometimes we just crack up laughing by our misunderstandings and usage of the english language.It seems to me sometimes we speak 2 different languages.How can you take the Mickey out of anything ? Matey.
Since I smoke myself I let them puff away.In general I consider it impolite to light up in a non smokers house .I always goi outside or on the balcony.
My first wife was german and I brought her back with me to the US.As soon as she had her Resident card she split taking my boy with her and her lover.So much on german woman from my side.Any country has good and bad ones.The trick is finding a good one.
It all depends.If I read in a profile .I am a caring person,I like to laugh and can be the best friend you will ever have and write this one a note and don't get an anwer in return,my beanie starts flashing and my antenna goes up.Go figure.
When sharing similar things like hobbies or interests that's good.If you aren't on the same level and you can talk about it and accept the others oppinion that's ok too.Discussions are productive but arguments are counterproductive.
